I’ll second that, I have rewatched several times so obviously I really like this drama!
I thought the ML was a bit obnoxious for the first few episodes, but that’s how the character was written. Yes the 2ML, after his initial rejection of the FL was much much warmer than the ML so I understand he seemed to be better with the FL.
I didn’t really enjoy the Joseon period parts. They were too long for me and very sad & violent.
A rom-com with a happy ending & great OST makes rewatching an easy: Yes!
I do think the breakup here allowed the FL to discover that she was happy and missed that happiness!
The photos the ML shared with her gave her concrete proof of that.
So while I “hated” The breakup at least there wasn’t a SML forcing his way in.
The FL was so stubborn that I think this was the only way she would relent and go back to him.
The ML had Saint-like patience!
I do 100% get the frustration.

Right now it’s only at the halfway point… a lot can change in the story.
