I HATE HER MOTHER WHYYYYYYY SHE KEEPS GETTING ON MY NERVES ( I point the scene where she was trying to make seokryu…
I haven’t watched yet, but does her mother know the ex cheated? If not, when she does she’ll be looking for her spoon or her drumsticks to kick his a**!!!
With the way this show is going, likely disappointed.
Sadly, I think you are right! I won’t be able to watch today’s episode until late tonight, so I’ll be able to set my disappointment level from the spoilers here; which is a good thing. 😔🫣🤦🏻♂️
It was a difficult, heartbreaking episode to watch, but the issues are real… it seems SK has some changes to…
Agreed, worse than sad because it’s real or close to it!
Yes that preview of the mother in court… really was BS!
To your point, well not nearly as bad as violence and abuse… In older Kdramas I hate the way women are treated: they pulled around, not heard and men ignore their decisions. 😣 Well to some extent it still happens in Kdramas.
Hopefully the next episode sees the POS husband get the death penalty!😡 Do they have that in SK? 🤔
I like Kwak Shi Yang and he's done some great villains and his character on this drama was one of the best ones.…
It was a difficult, heartbreaking episode to watch, but the issues are real… it seems SK has some changes to make to protect the abused?!?
Also, I wish the abused wife’s parents could be charged with something for her death! Failure to protect your child and stupidly believing the abuser over the abused.
The parents probably looked the other way for money from the POS husband…(darn rich people in KDramas)!
I think she’s 29. Somehow it’s normal in Kdramas, moms beating their grown up children and controlling their…
That’s very reassuring to hear! My only exposure to Korean culture is (perhaps unfortunately / sadly) through Kdramas. While I know things are exaggerated, it must be based on some past experiences or the way things used to be. Also, I really don’t like when two full grown adults find love only to have them break up because the parents don’t approve or the others status is high enough…😔
I do know it’s a fictional show and I’m sure things are much more evolved in real life!
Still it’s nice to get confirmation from a real person!
alot more! are you sure?action speaks louder, the female lead had done more than his biological parents from his…
I think, based on nothing more than a few hours of watching these characters… that the FL once she (if she) falls in love (or realizes she loves) with the ML - she will give 100% of her heart into the relationship. She doesn’t seem to do things halfway. In school and work… she worked until she dropped.
So once the switch flips to love.., she’ll be committed 100%.

You’re right, this is not a one-off! As a westerner it’s difficult to watch and imagine grown adult children (that earn a living) be controlled to such an extent. 😣
How old is the daughter supposed to be? I understand that it’s SK, a chaste society in KDramas, but the mother is going to beat up her daughter because she was at a motel with a guy…🤦🏻♂️ I get that mom may not be happy or even angry…
Same here. The storyline of the parents is utterly ridiculous.I just hope Mirae gets to live a much better life…
Based on what the mother said in ep 7 (I think 7) it maybe her fault the daughter hates her father… I won’t tell he whole story in case you haven’t watched it yet…🤔
The father isn’t faultless by far and wasn’t a great dad…
This should have been called Graduation. The Midnight Romance in Hagwon set somewhat wrong expectations, romance…
With the rain/umbrella and the way the scenes were shot… I really thought it was going to be like the two you mention. I put it on hold when the ML moved out of his parents house. It was too slow & focused on work. With romance in the title, I was think Rom-Com with some work/social issues stuff sprinkled in… It was the opposite. I really like the leads, but the pacing was… in general this was not what I had hoped it would be…
I’m watching Good Partner and there was a similar situation… parents don’t believe their adult children.
I really don’t like that full grown adult children are treated by their parents!
Who they can marry… etc etc 😡😞
Only nice thing was have SR’s room redecorated.
That’s it!
Often in Kdramas the parents urge the women to accept and forgive cheating…😡
They shouldn’t be forced to do that!
If not, when she does she’ll be looking for her spoon or her drumsticks to kick his a**!!!
Thank you,
Thank you!!!
I might DM after I watch it and get frustrated!
At least this way, I can prepare for frustration!
I do like this drama, but I’d like to see more “Love Next Door” soon!
I can’t watch until tonight (8 hours)…
Did FL get rid of her ex, or is she still tolerating him 😡
Is it a good episode for the leads or frustrating for us (the audience)?
Thank you in advance!!!
I won’t be able to watch today’s episode until late tonight, so I’ll be able to set my disappointment level from the spoilers here; which is a good thing.

I was “happy” that CEG finally wouldn’t continue to represent that POS CLIENT!
Let’s see what the new CEO does.
I wish she would have acted when he said he kill her (the wife), then he threaten CEG too!😡
I was surprised she went to the clients home alone. He was menacing in her office.
In the US, I think, you can get a divorce if one party wants one, right?
I hope the next episode avenges the poor victim’s death.😔
I’m really hoping for some positive changes beginning in this episode.
Will I be happy
or disappointed tomorrow? 🤔

PS: Really enjoying this show!
She doesn’t seem to do things halfway.
In school and work… she worked until she dropped.

I’m my humble opinion.

Most people liked it so that’s okay!
