If you havenāt watched Once Again, that is an example what a good weekender / family drama looks like!!
It wasnāt constant strife and misery, with the same issues again & again (& again). š” There were episodes of happiness. And leads & second leads that spent much of the episodes together.
Have you watched other weekenders (50+ episodes)?
The one after BaMR is 36 episodes. Maybe weāll want 50 eps of that one? š«£

It seems most relationships in mainstream kdramas are almost chaste.
I wouldnāt doubt the FL was intimate with her fiancĆ©e, or maybe she wasnāt and that will be his reason for cheating?
Also being out for a year, unless of severe medical issues for losing a pregnancy (whether naturally or on purpose) is rare. I think.
Maybe it will be a mental health issue which is kind of taboo, more than sex, in KDramas.
Doctor Slump was really bold in its portrayal of mental health issues in a SK RomCom.
