PSās mother? Not hated, but supreme disappointment in her and his dad, too! They never but their sons feelings above their own, like he doesnāt have any feelings.
Now f you want hateā¦PSās grandmother would have to be #2 (on this show)! She is the cause of most of the angst in PSās life.
Even PSās bio-Mother, I donāt hate (well as far as a fictional character), but what she did to her infant⦠there are not words. (I know in the US, mothers can leave their newborns at fire stations with no legal issues or repercussions. I mean there are technical legalities, but for the sake of simplicityā¦)I donāt think I could do that to my child or watch them grow up as someone elseās child.
So the #1 character to hate DR/JYās mother wins the: š
I thought the ML and FL were together in the end ?
TBH, it can be interpreted that way. A year after the scene were the ML resigned, I before they went their separate ways. (I donāt get it, if you love someone why would you do that?) Then it sends like they see each other at the airport where heās volunteering to go on the mission there FL organization is going on.
Then they are smiling at each other and the scene freezesā¦
Overall a good drama with great parts and a traditional time skip underwhelming ending imo.
While the action scenes and mystery parts were really done well, many mysteries remain just that at the end.
Forgetting the twist, turns and plot holesā¦the ending could have landed better. Especially for the romance tag on this drama.
While there was attraction, love. And respect between our leads, it was on simmer for most of the drama and occasionally it boiled for a second or two.
At the end, even though the FL was devastated from seeing the cheating husband she didnāt love or want to be married to, shot to death brutally in front of her⦠weeks (maybe) later the ML leaves her as a bodyguard and her love. Why? Never explained. They loved each other, there was no reason we are shown that they couldnāt be together.
Time Skip, ugh, one year later they meet seemingly randomly but it was planned. They look an each other they both have big smiles and are the happiest ever seen during the drama.
So I guess we can decide if they become involved from there or they donāt. š¤š«£š
What did the father say to the ML before ML was stabbed? Was the father going to let him go or be free? That didnāt make sense giver the fatherās disposition⦠Iām confused?š¤
I thought the two leads said the loved each other and he told her to: ābe his womanā or something to that effect? And she told her now dead husband she loved the ML.
So when the ML quit being a security guard why did they separate? They were now both singleā¦
I donāt get it, but itās a Kdrama. A pretty good Kdrama at that!
I truly liked this one. Kept coming back every week. The end was a mixed bag for me. Yong Guk death seemed a waste.…
Very nice summation!
I really like (sometimes love) KDramas, but they all (maybe not really all) seem to have a problem sticking the landing! What I mean is the endings are consistently not as good as the beginnings or middles.
Maybe you donāt think so, but itās just an observation from discussion here on the dramas and an opinion.
Like you brought up they were apart for a year with no info. They could have had one scene where they talked on the phone for a little continuity.
It may not be what youāre thinking.Read some recaps or analysis. KGE was amazing!Message me to discuss if youād…
You are welcome. itās been a long time since I watched it. Iām a big KGE fan! Goblin & The King Eternal Monarch were awesome!
Please donāt hate me if she turns out to be 17, but I remember think āwhy is everyone so upsetā? maybe she turns 18 at the time. Sorry, I just donāt want you to be upset or upset with me! š

me too! In the show Kim Go Eunās character is 18. the age of adult or consent is 19 in South Korea. She has a physical relationship with a college aged person. in the US 18 is ālegallyā acceptable.
sorry I just wanted you to be aware. still it was a good movie!

What do you think about PSās mom?
(He does hate his methods, because he canāt control him.) š¤
It seems that they are keeping the relationship dynamic between the VP and YSJ purposely hazy?
In the flashback was it a really young YSJ comforting an abused young future VP?
I thought YSJās mother took care of the VP as a youthā¦.

But there would be no Kdrama if good communication existed in the dramas. š«£
Like one sentence from someone could fix many episodes of misunderstandings. š¤

I always dread the noble idiocy and time skip.
What about you?
Side note: the actor that plays JD, plays a character on Huluās Red Swanā¦. Itās so nice to see him play a character that gets mistreated!
I wonder if DRās mom plays a character that gets treated badly in another Kdrama, that might be therapeutic?!? š¤
I canāt wait to watch it later⦠now.
Though I donāt know the story⦠I hate that they were separated for a time. š
Kdramas, what can you do, but shrug š¤·š» and watch the next one!!!
