PS / MR’s mother went to the US for college and was in a serious relationship when he died in an accident. She returned to SK to discover she was pregnant. I think her family needed her to marry in to a family with money.
She didn’t think they would accept her with child / unwed mother. 🤔🫣🫤

The actor that portrays MR is really does an endearing job.
It was heartbreaking when she said she wasn’t smart enough to live alone without parents like PS.
(PS isn’t smart enough to realize he can live without his parents & grandmother’s meddling.)

It’s said that she knows this fact, yet still carries the teddy bear with her everywhere.
Still, I think that MR is subtly getting smarter.
