If DR goes through being sold by her mother and imprisoned by JD, again, I will give serious thought to putting this drama on hold! YES: Totally agree…I think PS’s grandmother needs to go! I don’t see her being able or have the desire to change. Any redemption would be soundly rejected, vehemently thrown away.
As for PS’s bio mother, that attempt to control him, I thought was out of left field. Especially given the delicate balance she exists in. I don’t think she has any right to control or give an opinion on PS’s choices…at all.
[I should point out that all parents (or any one older than another) seem to feel or be entitled to control the younger one. It is one of my biggest frustrations with South Korean dramas, especially the family dramas… why does an independent adult have to comply with the tyrannical choices of their parent(s)? It breaks my heart when two 30-somethings break-up because they’re told to break up…UGH!]
But I digress, PDR’s mother…raises my blood pressure and saddens my soul. (GJD does this as well!) I can’t believe, well I can, that we’re in the same boat again with PDR’s evil manipulative witch of a mother!
I REALLY HOPE by PDR’s mother saying she was engaged & in love with GJD, she will become aware that her mother is lying to her. I hope her inner “JY” will be stronger than her former PDR self. Or PDR will remember everything that that her mother & GJD did to her would be even better!
