If, I think I remember, there was a minor love triangle, which I don’t like. it was a nuisance, but it was eventually resolved. It may have caused a couple episodes of angst… for me. But not enough to complain or stop watching.

As far as “bitchy” character, I should say I didn’t find Na-Hee(once again) too bitchy. She was hurt at the beginning of the show, then angry & sad.

The lead female may be considered that way in this kdrama, but she had/has a pretty good reason for the way she acts. Though it isn’t apparent until later.
But by the end she was my favorite character!

Some episodes were not as enjoyable as others. And I didn’t care for the male lead (father) too much as a character.
He may have had good intentions, but I felt his methods were horrible.
In the end it’s an drama so… I look forward to your opinion! 🤔

Beauty and Mr Romantic - season 2?!?

I understand the guy is upset, but she didn’t cheat on him. Yes being deceived is bad. And it feels terrible, but I think it can be a recoverable offense. If they want to work on it.

Her deceit can be explain & plausible in a way if you look at it with rose colored glasses. To me being cheated on would not be forgivable.

I really feel that PDR/JY will be blamed when JD gets caught with JY, she’s going to be called a gold digger & get blamed, slapped, and her hair pulled by JD’s fiancée!

I’m really happy that JY’s grandmother beat JD with a broom and will not be a fan of his relationship with JY. (Me either!)

And when JD gets caught with JY, she’s going to be a 35+ episode idiot that’s gets blamed, slapped, and her hair pulled by JD’s fiancée!

Sadly the issue you bring to light is the cause of 50% (or more) of the issues in most KDramas. 🫣
I wonder if these issues are true in reality (in SK), as well as in KDramas?🤔

I’d really like PS to find a nice woman with a strong backbone, if JY can’t stop being a door mat.

Very interesting, I’ve not seen it broached (as far as I can remember) as a solution in Kdrama divorces.

If I can ask further, if you know, does the non-custodial parent get visitation or the ability to spend time with their child?

It just seems like in SK divorces in dramas, the child gives up a parent in a divorce? 🤔

PS / MR’s mother went to the US for college and was in a serious relationship when he died in an accident. She returned to SK to discover she was pregnant. I think her family needed her to marry in to a family with money.
She didn’t think they would accept her with child / unwed mother. 🤔🫣🫤
