PS’s family is really something…not in a good way!
His dad gets really tough with an intellectually challenged you lady, who is seemingly getting smarter (right?)!

I know what the bio-mom did was wrong but not enough to burn in hell, which is said ad nauseam! 🫣

I was happy that PS and MR can have a relationship. If PS’s mother wouldn’t have “let” her adult son speak to his sister that would have been right up there with the burn in hell sentiments. 🙏🏻

Is it me or does PS constantly say the name of the person he is talking to an inordinate amount of times in one conversation. It is really grating listening to it… he barely says anything substantive.🤯

Regarding GJD, I hope maybe that he’ll be married when he goes into crazy PDR mode and TH (currently his fiancée) flexes her muscle! I really don’t want to go through the BS that GJD did to PDR, along with her mother, again! 😡

Any thought on when PDR starts to remember her past?

Very rarely in KDramas do parents actually put their adult children first, especially when it comes to who their child likes/loves. 😡🫣🤔

I agree lately it seems there is very little Rom in what is called Rom-Com!
I don’t mind & like the comedy, but there seems to be less Rom in the latest batch…

I think Touch Your Heart is a good example of Rom-Com imho.
I think Marry My Husband had a decent amount of Romance in it, but though there were funny scenes I do not think of that as a comedy.

Maybe we can come up with a list of KDramas that fit the ”Rom” level more than the minimal amount?

And he’s upset with himself because he didn’t realize/prevent it…🫣

It was a “good ending”, but not very satisfying.
In my opinion it was a very little Rom in the Rom-Com, mystery kdrama genre.

I’m not sure if was the writing or directing, because both leads have done really well in other dramas.
I’m glad I watched it, but it’s not one I’ll be watching again…😕

I feel much the same way… when I stressed this us my go to watch!
No stressful 2ML or other tropes that are typically. okay maybe one, but it’s pretty quick!!!
I don’t know if there is a real version of this FL but she’s awesome… and Yoo In-Na played it perfectly!

I love this kdrama.
I think I’m up to 5 times watching… it’s a 99% Happy drama with not too many tropes or stressors (to me)!

I think I’ve seen the track info on YouTube… there are like 40 tracks or something like that…
I found the one that was playing when they got to the kingdom and were riding on the boat…

Yes. Just accept it as you watch the first time. It’s not a perfect, but it’s a great drama if you start with that perspective!

This is one of my favorite Kdramas…
I finally just had to accept things happen off screen… like TE falling in love with LG so completely after spending a day or two in the Kingdom… They had one kiss we saw on screen… then when he returning to SK she was in love.
I think TE never felt these emotions and needed time to understand her feelings. She is very reserved and “self protective” until she really understood LG in her head/heart.

This is just my opinion, I wish I knew about this site when I watched TKEM. It would have been great to discuss these issues…

I think the FL could be better, but the writing and directing aren’t giving her an opportunity to be more than sullen, somber and unhappy.
Except when she’s with her younger sister… at least she smiles!!!

Sadly the last second reunited couple happens and is not satisfying at all. Especially after 16 episodes of working towards being a couple!🫣

I think the angst and badly behaving parents/grandparents will always be a part of the story, but I’m hoping the leads can finally be together and deal with all the 💩 as a couple! 🙏🏻

I think seeing them as a couple would require them to have chemistry and “act” like they are more than friends & like each other.

Their “romance” was practically nonexistent. They barely held hands, hugged, and I don’t think they had one kiss.

I feel as soon as the relationship started their interactions began to feel less and less like a couple. The FL was so attracted to the ML in the beginning, but soon after the ML was interested, she was just “meh” 🫤 about it.

It could have been really cute even with too many episodes for the content of the story, but the writing and direction where far from on point.
