GC and SJ are not just cruelâtheyâre performative in their cruelty, turning the Chairman into a prop in their…
It feels wrong to empathize with a man we saw a week ago kill someone with his bare hands before his wedding. It is difficult to see a human fall apart and deteriorate, it reminds us of our own mortality. Also, thatâs not punishment or justice, but perhaps karma?
Iâd much prefer he keeps his mind and is punished knowing full well what & why he is being punished. Like another show, has the main antagonist just diagnosed with a terminal illness.
It kind of ârobsâ the audience of the revenge they want to see and that the perpetrator deserves. The smug superiority of the person who commits crimes with impunity getting their comeuppance.
ML's brother was abandoned by his mother. He blames his father for this, although it is revealed in the last episode…
Thatâs a good summary!
I think the hatred from the boat issue was a little over the top. I understand we see the older brother permanently injured, but the younger brother was somewhere between 10 to 14 years old. It wasnât premeditated, it was an accident . They definitely needed family therapy at the time.
Also while Iâm on a role, communication issues are the crux of problems in KDramas. The father should have told the older brother the truth, why protect the mother that abandoned them?
y'all... the acting during ML's meltdown at the end of episode 4 was just so bad... i want to continue but idk…
If you can get past that, itâs a really enjoyable watch! Iâve seen the ML in a few different shows and some of his actions or looks are uniquely all the same.
quick, someone tell me, is this makjang?! Lord knows I've been needing a little makjang in my life đ
I think it is. Maybe not hardcore classic makjang , but it should fill the makjang you need! If you like it itâs a very quick watch! (If you watch, let me what you think!)
I will try to watch the last 5 episodes on Friday!
Are you going to stay away from this page? If youâre hoping to be surprised that would be safest, as you know the âSpoilerâ tag isnât always on spoilersâŠđ«Ł
I can see your position and it makes sense.
As a human itâs frightening to see how quickly one can deteriorate so profoundly.

SRâs is: âgive me 3 days Theo, 3 days more!â
DY seems okay!
GC has a terminal illnessâŠ
>> That will be SRâs reply.
Then convince GC the DNA report is fake!

I agree watching all 5 in a row would be really good, but then you miss out on all the discussion shared here!
Thatâs the âsadâ part is watching old shows⊠nobody else is watching. đ€Ł

Hello did you watch ep 96?
Is YG thinking or talking with Mr Do about getting back together with GM? đ±
Thatâs a possible future sequel title?
We still need to find it if the mystery of what JIâs father left for her in the house, right?
Just think of it like a super hero show. We the audience know that Clark Kent is Superman, but the minute he puts his glasses on, nobody can tell.
That may or may not help. Logic has to go away for the 30 minutes the show is on the screen. đ«Ł
