And then why did the mother (Mrs Choi) hate SU with so much anger after the father died. Was she only nice to him because the father insisted? 🤯

I think she freed them so she could punish / destroy them without cameras or witnesses. If they were in prison, her punishment and head stamping would definitely be noticed! And if she took them out of prison… that would be noticed (I hope)!
