I think she freed them so she could punish / destroy them without cameras or witnesses. If they were in prison, her punishment and head stamping would definitely be noticed! And if she took them out of prison… that would be noticed (I hope)!
Why does Hulu in the US delay broadcast (4 or 5 days)? Though the wait is more exciting than the show at this point. Most others shows are same day with at most 6 hours for subs..

DY should have pickup up BoRam and ran to JI.
GC would have to let JI go to fight him, then JI could have held on to BoRam.
And there had to be a red light she should have left the car if at all possible.
