Reading your post made a lot of sense and I donāt argue the point. Perhaps the graphic-ness was needed to show that? I donāt remember but I donāt think she was forced to engage with the younger male, she was under the age of consent I think.
Iām not opposed to sex scenes or nudity where appropriate. I donāt find forcing or coercion the right way to go about things. I certainly would have been able to tell a difference between the two menās treatment even if the graphic scenes were toned down.
Be that as it may it was an excellent movie akin to literature - meaningful and raw.
