To me this situation is for dramatic tension…
I’m sure it has/does happen in real life, but I don’t think the cheated on partner would be as “understanding” as on this Kdramas & for 25+ years. 🤯
I hope in that situation that I could think clearly enough not to blame the child, but that’s not realistic( in real life). 🫣

Question, how could such a “loving” mother turn to an absolutely hateful being, just because the father passed away?

I know it’s a tv show, but it would be difficult for 25+ years (however old SU is) to be loving, caring & nurturing mother, enough that he believes he was genuinely loved.
She doesn’t seem to be one to acquiesce to other’s demands easily.
She must be some actor faking love like that for so long?!🫣

Yes, her parents should have been responsible adults and take care of it.
