Is it really only a kdrama thing, like divorce or is generally a mirror of SK societal views?

That would be very sad in a number of ways and devastating to JI after all SR has done to her…

The woman JI is staying with, the chicken place owner, the Doctor’s mother and granddaughter - EunHo’s classmate….

I think you have an excellent point, she’s a fixer. I don’t think your stirring up anything most don’t know about!!

If something or someone is broken, desperate, ill… GS, she’s on it & happy to be helping!!
With DS, I don’t think her heart rate goes up at all when she’s with him. I think from the beginning she likes him but I don’t feel a romantic love from her side of the aisle at the wedding venue.
And look how she’s all about DS mil from the US!
I wanted another to throw something at her every time she spoke.
But GS wants to be like her daughter. GS’s mother is going to NOT love that!

Good point about a different actor! Maybe have a different one to start as SH then this actress for the majority of the show.

This isn’t the right word but the audience is often “omnipotent” at times.
All knowing. Because we follow SH at home, at her cafe, even when she talks to herself in her mind, etc…
The Min characters don’t have the same knowledge as the viewers.
Often this is not the case in mystery or psychological thrillers.
I do look forward to see what the writer has in mind and how familiar she looks to the other characters. 🫣
