The one that was in the US with his daughter? She is finally out of the picture! They extend it to 54 episodes…
We can always hope! Yet, I feel the overall results are we (all of us not only you and me) will have similar discussions about this or similar topics in many KDramas we discuss.
Perhaps it’s the nature of the SK writers and the audience they are written for? For me, as a person from a different culture many tropes are foreign and off-putting.
In my culture people who are divorced are mostly not thought of as defective. Parents here want their children to marry for love and happiness rather than status. (Thought if status and good money are part of it then that’s okay, too!)
Though I overall enjoy KDramas they are weakest in their endings and “sticking the landing” to use an Olympic term. They have great beginnings and even middles. Then the frustrations often start.
I’m sure I’ll be complaining about the next weekender too. It’s just human nature or at least mine. 😊
As I wrote before, it seems like GS has more affection, feelings, love and joy for the brewery, and her brothers…
I read through the discussion above…I understand and feel the disappointment in GS’s emotions or lack of in the relationship with DS. I feel the disappointment with it. Personally I think I a small time jump would allow GS to feel less guilty pursuing a new relationship only months after her husband died.
I do agree that GS has more affection and animation toward her brothers-in-law. I think because she doesn’t feel guilty caring so much about them vs The guilt of being “in love” with DS.
The leads are both veteran, accomplished & seasoned actors. They are not doing “skinship/bed scenes” where an actor would or might feel uncomfortable towards their real life partner.
The actors can certainly act as directed at this point in their careers. My thought is the director and producer must be okay or want the acting we are getting or we could get something different then we are getting.
I thought it was not my genre but sort of stumble in to episode 1 and couldn’t stop watching… like a book you can’t stop reading. No filler, no fluff just non-stop story and action! 👍🏻
that’s the part that baffles me most lol she ran to the airport and didn’t check in with the sister? didn’t…
They thugs left before SH left SK and the crooked cop & corporate lawyer probably gave up watching after a year. As GC moved on with her new business she had less time to waste on the sister of the woman that disappeared. 🤔
I hate how fl z being lenient towards evil bitches…. I don’t understand y she kept her son name as Sarang.…
Hi, you just recommend this show tome on The Queen’s House page!
Question, I usually hate the way women are treated in early KDramas before 2015… is this typical of that? Where they’re told what & when to think and pulled by the wrist like a dog? 🫣🤔🫤
This drama just keeps getting better and better. Loved seeing Jae In punch that scumbag right in his eye. What…
The woman JI is staying with, the chicken place owner, the Doctor’s mother and granddaughter - EunHo’s classmate…. she doesn’t think JI is good enough because she is divorced and her son has never been so he deserves the same? 🤯🫣🤦🏻♂️
I didn’t catch the subs at the moment and Kocowa the ff/reverse is not working at the moment…
The theme of this episode is the infamous Keep-it-Secret Syndrome, one of Korea's top illness. Ms. Dumber's dad…
That was well thoughtout. I hadn’t considered of the day Paddy could side with MiRan for the sake of their son and forget his murdered niece and his sister and the rest. 🤯😡🫣
Is the second brother ex. still in the picture? Reading the comments I feel Ok that I drop it after ep. 36. What…

I don’t want to stir the pot but after watching the last episode (44), it is obvious that MS doesn’t love…
Ahh Gloria Gaynor, not many can sing like her!! (I refer to the FL as GS) I think you have an excellent point, she’s a fixer. I don’t think your stirring up anything most don’t know about!!
If something or someone is broken, desperate, ill… GS, she’s on it & happy to be helping!! With DS, I don’t think her heart rate goes up at all when she’s with him. I think from the beginning she likes him but I don’t feel a romantic love from her side of the aisle at the wedding venue. And look how she’s all about DS mil from the US! I wanted another to throw something at her every time she spoke. But GS wants to be like her daughter. GS’s mother is going to NOT love that! 🤯🫣😔

I avoid shows & movies with sad endings because life is challenging enough without “entertainment stress”! 🫣
🤣 We’ll get through this! 👍🏻
