I’ve watched enough long dramas to know this is very decent with a good flow. Maybe it’s good I didn’t read…
I’m pretty sure ratings = money/revenue. So while most writer’s care about their story the Producers & executives want to increase revenue. And of course the executives win that argument.
I have not seen GS fight for the Chairman the way he has fought for her. He has indeed become somewhat ambivalent…
Definitely agree! And the mil keeps saying she needs to be involved for the children, yes they are his children and her grandchildren, but they are both solidly adults.
It’s not like the mil had to worry about a stepparent mistreating the children.
And I don’t think GS was as ready to be in a relationship as DS. He’s had 15 years to get ready, she’s had 15 minutes.
Okay not 15 minutes, but not 15 months either. She was definitely not in the space of thinking of marriage yet - she wasn’t thinking about dating. So the chairman is full speed ahead while GS is at a likely above idle speed. But neither needs an older adult supervising their relationship. 🫣🤯😡
Just watched the raw episode 42. Preview showed Kwangsook being scalded and hurt by the hot steam at the brewery.…
I, like yesterday will be very disappointed with DS if he doesn’t respectfully, assertively and unequivocally tell his mil this is the woman he loves and he will marry.
I just finished watching the subbed version. At thethe dinner when DS had to step away for a call the mil told GS, she can date him but she can not marry him. As she is not of the same caliber as her daughter. Then the mil said not to say anything to DS, that she will soon.
My question is why does GS owe the mil (aka the turd) that courtesy? GS’s priority should be between her and DS. So I hope she tells him, but with that darn respect your elders philosophy it seems a vindictive old woman who’s angry that her dead daughter’s husband is moving forward with his life after 15 years. Ugh! 😡🤯😡
I enjoyed your well written review! Question: I to avoid sad endings, please spoil is this safe for me to watch or should I avoid? I know it’s been a while since you watched this movie. Thank you in advance for your reply. 😊
In one of writers previous weekenders called wolgyesu tailor, ML did get married and we had a few eps of married…
Agree! That’s too hot and uncomfortable! Here in the US they also factor in humidity so those days with 95*+ and high humidity the weather forecasters call: Oppressive (I call it a stay inside with an AC Day!)

The whole GS & DS relationship is unbalanced…
She wants to go slow he keeps pushing her to go faster and faster… even to call him “honey” she’s just not in that space yet. He’s had 15 years to get through and over his loss! While I don’t know exactly how long, it’s definitely been less than a year for her.
To me, she hesitant - almost embarrassed to be dating - while living in her husband’s house. Still feeling his loss.
I hope tomorrow he sticks up for himself and GS tomorrow! But probably not for a couple episodes. I hate that full grown adults just remain silent and that’s called respectful, 😡
His mil has to offer GS money to leave DS first, especially now that she thinks she’s a gold digger! & Why was that golf pro sitting in the lobby talking so loudly? The chairman would have kicked him out if he saw him, I believe!! They has a physical altercation last time they met.
Definitely not looking forward to the excessive hear levels this week & I appreciate iced tea with lots of ice…lol! It’s usually not too humid in CA right?

I’m waiting to see how disappointed I’ll be with DS. I get being respectful but if he lets his deceased wife’s mother control his life and relationship with GS I’ll be disappointed. I know these are exaggerated tropes but he was definitely not the strong, self assured man from the last few episodes.
And now are we going to have MS do the ‘noble idiocy’ trope for CS? Does she really think he wants to be with the almost ex-wife to make his college aged child happy?
As a more mature character, it would be great to see communication happen over assumptions.
Okay time for some chamomile tea until tomorrow! Though with record breaking heat in the north eastern US, - I guess I’ll have it iced?!! 🫣🫤🤯
Today’s episode for me was a mixed bag… some stories seem too conveniently resolved or seemingly resolved. Then the others seem to be headed up “trope mountain”. I’m not assuming I’m right, but it felt that way while I watched episode 41 today. Let’s see if this show can keep the tropes to a bump or two and not a mountain range… 🤔
Well I guessed wrong. I was hoping YuGyeong had secretly been on birth control as not to have a child in that…
In the beginning episodes she was bruised, then later he physically assaulted her when he was drunk. I can’t believe she got married to be treated that way. She was so close to being out of the looney bin! She made a bad choice coming back! Is that typical you get married and become the household servant and whipped post? 😡🤯😢
Is there some extraordinary criteria to use an ambulance or is carrying someone to the ER just a preferred method?

I don’t mind a sad, difficult and emotionally arduous journey when it’s rewarded at the end.
Otherwise to me it’s not an escape from reality, but in some ways a reminder.
I saw this title featured on the Amazon Fire tv interface and it seemed interesting.
I will look for more of your reviews and thoughts!

That will be good then!
Also I read here that the show was extended with 4 more episodes.
Which can be a good or bad thing depending on the writer.
It sounds refreshing compared to a high of 100 in the next day or two. 🫣

I’ve never been right on my speculation! 🤣
