I’m enjoying the drama a lot but I need to vent something. Why do they just stand there and watch for a few…
It’s definitely frustrating to watch! Just like when someone is unconscious they call their names repeatedly for a long time before calling the rescue department! I talked with someone else both the FL and the Queen had whatever that was in their mouths… yuck! I don’t think it was CGI, unless it was Gatorade - digitally made to look black! 🤮
I haven’t watched today’s episode yet…I need the subtitles to fully understand what’s going on. If SangA implicates SJ in her father’s death, wouldn’t the police ask SA why didn’t you call an ambulance if you saw someone pushed/fall down a flight of steps? Talk about evil, even NJ didn’t make an anonymous call to the fire/rescue number.
I also noted the MIL mention. She will definitely be a problem for the Chairman and Kwang Sook. She believes that…
I do remember seeing/hearing 15 years…
I’m not a big fan of time jumps when it’s used to fix poor writing or lazy writing (maybe they’re the same thing)… In this case I think with respect to the FL, she should have time to grieve and process the loss of what seems like the first true love of her life. Time spent with someone doesn’t necessarily equal the depth of love that was there. Her mother pushing her in to blind dates (another irritant of Kdramas) a month or two after her husband dies seemed draconian. The FL is an adult and should get the providence to decide when she’s ready to date or not date.
So in this case a small time jump soon would give the fl the time to process her loss as the chairman has had plenty of time to process his. In the 10 or 15 years since his wife died his daughter had to trick him in to a date with her professor. The only down side which another user pointed out is we may have to get a different baby/toddler to play the role of HaNi.

Once you reminded me of that scene, I remember thinking that was odd. I responded to another post (after consulting with Google) that if your spouse dies, their parents aren’t automatically titled “EX- mil/fil”. If you divorce your spouse then that’s their new title. Maybe combined with Korea’s deference to elders its akin to the chairman’s mother having her say in his decisions as an adult! (That always irritates me that full grown independent adults are told don’t date them/don’t marry them. I think your parents opinions are important but shouldn’t be controlling. That leads to long term issues: example >> Desperate Mrs SeonJu)

Do you know if there is there a way to convert to English? 🫣
