If you want to know beforehand whether to watch this drama here are some of my thoughts. Spoiler rant below.. But know I love the actors, and I think they did a great job with the so called "script" they were given.... 😂
I can't believe it's over.... this was so beautifully done. I really am in awe. It definitely leaves a lingering impact. How I wish for a special episode...
Why is the rating low? I want to start the drama but im not sure because of the rating, is it worth watching?
I personally never trust mydramalist ratings... haha. Some of my fav dramas have lower ratings. A drama could be rated low on here, but on the actual the dramas website that it aired on (example, iqiyi or viki) the drama is rated way higher. Here on mydramalist, it states that there are over 16,000 people watching this title, yet only 574 have given it a rating.... that's only a few people's opinion. This alone shows the rating isn't gonna be 100% accurate especially because it's still ongoing. Ya get what I'm saying? 😂
Anyway as to whether or not to watch it, I personally have some aspects I like, and don't like. I feel like so far the dramas main focus is the gangster plot. So you'll see more of those kind of scenes rather than the romance in the first few episodes. Perhaps try out a couple of episodes and see if it's your vibe. I think it's improving every episode and getting more interesting. But everyone has their own opinion! I enjoy it tho!
Definitely enjoyed this one! I have seen the Korean version prior to watching this, and I hate to compare. But there were some aspects I enjoyed more in the Korean version, and some I preferred more in the Japanese version. The K-drama's revenge plot was more satisfying to watch for me. It went in deeper, and the revenge scenes were so satisfying. We didn't get to see it in much depth in the Japanese version. Butttt the chemistry??? The romance?? Yes, yes, I think it was better than the k-drama version, and the j-drama took the crown here. Ya'll should watch and see which one you prefer! I loved it.

As much as I love the series, I personally don't think it needs a 3rd season?? Sure they could take the story another way, but I personally think we had enough drama in the 2nd season we don't need more of that put into a third ya know?! Even if it's more romance focused...
Although perhaps a special episode??! Because I think we all agree that the ending was rushed. I think a special episode would provide what we need and would be better than a whole other season. I think a special would do the job of piecing everything together for one last hoorah. But that's just me.
Plus I'd LOVE to see the actors try out different projects together instead of acting out a third season together. Let's see their acting skills develop further in a new project.
Random note, but I'm also BEGGING for Garfield and Benz to start as the leads in a totally different project. I think we all want that... hahah.
I'm stressing out about the breakup era..... I honestly just want it to happen already so we can have the reconciliation and make up era come quicker. I can't bear it y'all. I want to see their cute scenes without the stress! I can't have breakup episodes and then no make up episodes afterwards. My heart doesn't t work that way... haha. Might just skip a couple of weeks and come back and check if the breakup era is over. Any approximate guesses as to when the break up and make up episodes will be?
The acting is just so amazing. I found myself crying those last couple episodes. Everything was portrayed so beautifully. It leaves a lingering feeling in you. 10/10 for me.
I paused the drama halfway so I could binge it later... but I've gotta know, is it a happy satisfactory ending? I've seen some people say its unexpected, but is it still happy??
Pardon my rant but the comments aren't exaggerating guys. The cuts are crazy work. I went into the drama knowing there was gonna be cuts. I didn't think it'd be that bad. While there weren't a lot that I caught, I swear they only cut the important parts. And THAT is what ruined it for me...
Like what do you mean the confession scene was missing. I was watching the episode all confused on why they were lovey dovey with no confession.... I thought it was my fault... IT WASN"T! Why on earth is that scene missing?!! the what 5 second flashback... ya useless..
Also the brother... his story was definitely set up to be a BL... Pretty much everyone agrees. That's what it was moving towards. But what?! They just decided, "Oh never mind..." sighhhh
The drama had so much potential.... I still enjoyed it tho, I just wish the important scenes remained...

For those thinking of watching the middle part or not or just want to know what exactly happened here I'll briefly explain what happened in these episodes, than you can make your decision.
All the stupid things the viewers are talking about mainly comes from these middle episodes. Here's the main plot point of these episodes. Misunderstanding after misunderstanding.... The ML acts like a jerk the majority of the time and takes the 2FLs side only to realize the FL was right.... Not only this, he says he doesn't like the 2FL but his actions show otherwise? If you like the FL then freaking show it dude, and tell off the 2FL! If you don't like what she's doing then tell her and have your actions towards her show otherwise.He's literally leading her on with his actions. One of the reviewers jing said this perfectly... go read the review for more details on this...
It's not just the ML that gets on your nerves. The FL also does an amazing job with this. She has no sense of thankfulness. She's just blind and stupid most of the time. With her words and actions. There were times I was agreeing with what the ML had to say and times I agreed with her. Like I swear we couldn't get 10 minutes of peace with them before something blew out of the water. Either a misunderstanding or one of the leads stupid actions/words..
Next... the FL keeps on getting injured or put in danger. Now usually I love a good plot where the FL gets put in danger and the ML swoops in and saves her. But this is nothing to fawn over in this case. It's actually annoying here. This is actually part of the reason I kept watching the middle episodes because I saw the preview and was like, "Oh wait, let me see how this plays out." Then it just annoyed me and I got sick of it... Which you will get sick of it after a point.....
Oh and the aunt was annoying too... just.. ughhh You could forward through the middle episodes like I did, but I personally feel like it was a waste of my time.. and I wish I just started off again on 20.
I'll wrap up these middle episodes here. That's basically all that happened in those episodes. Just plot fillers really...You won't really miss anything if you skip it. After reading this it's up to you to watch those middle episodes. Don't let this deter you from the drama. Because the first few episodes were great! I just wish they eliminated the stupid stuff...(but then again, it's a lakorn.. sooo what do we expect) The last episodes make up for it. We do see the leads chemistry, and of course THE TWINS!! They are worth watching for... just so adorable. All in all despite the stress was a lot... haha. I would have enjoyed it more if I skipped. But hey! If this is your cup of tea then go right on ahead!

I saw the comment and thought, oh seems like a good idea but I don't want to miss any cute scenes between the leads so I did end up watching the middle episodes with some forwarding of course. And let me tell you... I wish I didn't.... oh and no there were little to none cute scenes between the leads. (waste of my time)
