So many people these days want a fast paced suspense or thriller and so they did not like this film. You need a bit of patience to sit back and watch the storyline and characters unfold. I thought it was beautifully done and thoughtful. The characters and the Japanese culture of Noh were interesting and captivating. The cinematography kept me watching and the suspense kept building until the very end. I found it slow and steady. Type A people beware, lol.

Am I the only one who is upset with the mother going away on her own for a year in order for the family to come to an emotional understanding? To me, motherhood means unconditional love and tremendous sacrifice without broadcasting it or punishing others if it is not always returned. It was hard for me to watch the parents lecturing their adult children about family and all they did wrong when the parents were so very flawed and caused most of the drama throughout the entire series. Why would their adult children discuss anything with them growing up in that household?

About ML in this drama let me share a quote from Tropic Thunder movie "You went full retard, man. Never go full…
I agree somewhat. I know they were trying to portray the facts that he was uneducated and had never really experienced much because all of his youth was spent in jail but not everyone who is uneducated acts so uncouth. Every time I was put off though a lovelier gentler side of him came out and his vulnerability was what drew me to his character again.

Just finished this kdrama and am perplexed why it has such a low rating. I thought it was very meaningful.

I liked it but it was sweeter than sweet. It was so sweet that it became a bit annoying. The ending was totally unnecessary and seemed to be one of those themes that keep showing its ugly head in kdramas. They were destined to be together since childhood. It makes you feel like there are only 100 people living in South Korea and everyone is either related or from the same neighborhood. I will admit to shedding a few tears during the most tender moments of the kdrama and for that I rated it 8 stars.

What a wonderfull journey. This was a binge watch for me! The story is aimed more at mature people. The themes…
I agree. Loved it and found it moving and very meaningful. Being married 37 years I really related so much with the main characters. A wonderful marriage has its ups and downs and you get through them together., and that is extremely rewarding and fulfilling. I disagree with some reviews and comments about the secondary characters not really being interesting or needed. I found their parts in the story wonderful as well.

I cannot believe how much I loved this kdrama. There were so many parts I laughed and cried, which is ridiculous considering the nature of the drama. You know it is not real and can’t possibly happen but you cry anyway because it was very moving. I really enjoyed learning a bit about acupuncture too. All the actors were fantastic, especially the ML and FL.

The same for me, I understand Gi Seok anger to certain degree after watching for the 2nd time, he was by no means…
I agree. When someone says they no longer want to be with you you should let go…no point in holding on. Walk away and once you do that you free yourself to find the right person for you. Who wants to be with another person who does not want them? Not me!

Can’t imagine why this kdrama is rated pretty high. 8.5 is generous. It is more like a 7.5. It’s good BUT should not be 16 episodes. Very drawn out and tedious and my eyes are going bonkers between the flash forwards and backwards. Although a major part of the story revolves around the female lead and her mom who are protagonists, I could not stand them by episode 12. I will say that the ending was satisfying and decent.

OMG! I absolutely loved every single episode of this kdrama. This story was so relatable and I really cannot remember another kdrama where I cried so many times because of this. I avoided it up until now because the summary did not really draw me in but after reading the reviews I took a chance and am so glad I did because it left me with so many different feelings, especially how it “ain’t over until it’s over”. I reached out to my sons and others that it is a must see even though they roll their eyes and think of my love for kdramas as being part of a cult., lol. No other kdrama has made me feel this way since Prison Playbook and Mr. Sunshine.

This was an absolutely wonderful. interesting and tender kdrama. The acting was superb and I found myself waiting with anticipation every week for the next episodes. It touched every one of my emotions. As a mother I related to her so much.

Title Another Miss Oh Spoiler
So the ex-husband broke up with her because he’s broke?
Long story short. He was a very successful young finance guy who was trying to start a new venture and get financial backing. Because of the ML he lost his primary backer and then all other backers dropped out and sued him. He had to declare bankruptcy and was being sued for fraud. That is why he was arrested but eventually was found not guilty. I loved this story but to be honest, he was the true victim here throughout. I felt sorry for him because not only did he lose money, respect, his freedom but also his fiance. Yes, he handled it badly by breaking up with her a day before the wedding and yes I understand why she could not take him back after he returned. When getting married you should be able to tell your partner everything…and saying I can’t stand watching you eat was basically saying I can’t stand anything about you…well it was hurtful. You can be forgiven but the pain he caused her can never be forgotten. In the drama she admits that she knew his pride came before her. So although I loved this kdrama and watched it twice because I loved it so much, I really felt sorry for her ex-fiance…not so much for his ex-fiance.

Yes 🙂
Lol, What do you suggest he should have done? He should tolerate the mother’s abuse over and over again? She was never going to accept him. The FL lost at her job, she lost to her mother and all he can be blamed for was trying to protect her and protect their relationship. He wanted to discuss things with her upon his return from China. She did not wait and made decisions on her own without consulting with him at all. He was right when he asked her what he was to her. He apologized throughout but as a I see it she made one mistake after another. There is no doubt he loved her more than she loved him. She said it to his sister…Even after telling the ML over and over again that all she needed was him…I love me more. She got into this relationship promising that the last thing she ever wanted was to hurt him but that is exactly what she did. And then she went on doing exactly what her mommy wanted.

Toxic relationships . They should have gone there separate ways. FL was super dumb . ..a grown woman who have…
I absolutely agree with you. It was awful and the FL was the worst. It was not her mother but her that had the most issues. All those times she told him all she needed was him and in the end all she needed was herself and what her parents wanted. What a waste of my time!

This is my second time trying to get through this kdrama. This time I have made it to episode 13 and am really trying to finish it but it is not easy to do. The female lead is pitiful. I cannot imagine what he sees in this 35 year old girl (notice I did not write woman) except that she is pretty and unlike anyone else that he has met. She gets in the car with her stalker ex, she goes on the blind date as requested by her abusive mother, she delays day in and day out to tell her absolute best friend that she is dating the brother letting her find out by other means, and then she goes ahead and reaches out to the long absent and uncaring father of her boyfriend. Her brother is correct when he said everything she does is wrong and causes trouble. She is so stupid that I want him to leave her. I also want her best friend to say good riddance. I am aware that there may be cultural differences but not that many that would create this type of useless person. The drama tries to show her changing because she is happily in love and has more confidence but I see her as a total idiot. Wish me luck in finishing this drama.

Finished it! Hated it! The FL was unworthy of his love but was rewarded anyway. The ML and his sister were treated horribly and were ok with it. Mom got away with her bullying and the father let her run the roost. Ugh, I should have never returned to this kdrama. I need a really good one to get over this disaster.

I’m enjoying this kdrama but find it so unlikely that three different men love her so much and would do anything to get her.
