It's bc 1st DIL is remarried meaing this is her 2nd married while 3rd DIL is pretty reputable. She comes from a respected family even ccs's brothers said 3rd uncle married "up" and that his family can be considered inferior to 3rd aunt's. But in madam's eyes no one is good enough for her son not even a princess. It's bc she has this distorted feeling for her son, not to say incest but definitely applies her feelings and wishes to her 3rd son that should be given to a husband instead. Such as getting jealous of when 3rd son interact withs his wife

My mom told me to not marry a husband that is A. raised by a single mom or B. is a single child in the family. There's going to be more unnecessary conflict when it comes to mother and daughter in-laws. Ofc it's not always the case, but it's more plausible.

I'm tearing up everytime css' mom treats yangyang better and css gives a disappointed or forlong look. I mean everyone that has a brain can tell what's happening in the situation...her brothers, her dad and 3rd aunt...so why is her mom so freaken obtuse about this even though 3rd aunt told her about being overly partial to yang yang ,to seem fair, and being too harsh on one's own close blood. UUUGGHH, I'm so frusterated.

I really don't like that css' mom is prejudice on css mainly bc she's "raised" by 2nd aunt. Sure 2nd aunt is horrible but that doesn't mean css will become just like 2nd aunt. if an alcoholic father raised his son, will his son be an alcoholic? there is higher plausibility, sure, but not definite, and sometimes the son will not even touch a drop of alcohol given the trauma. This really irks me how prejudice she is to her daughter without even getting to know her.

Well, a period is for sure, all her fans seems to think her next project is period. Just don't know if she will take fantasy. We can't for her, can only support and hope.

when css' mom said she likes yang yang bc a person like her aunt raised her well....in css' perspective it was hinting that her mom doesn't like her bc it was the evil 2nd aunt that raised her. I know her mom didn't mean that and was just trying to console the aunt and yang yang, but since css was raised without her parents, she feels a sense of "abandonment" from her parents, especially since her mom is too strict and doesn't take the time to really get to understand her daughter or why she does the things she does. Sure she's a military woman but css isn't raised in the military so the methods her mom uses on her won't work, instead it may make their already brittle relationship worse.

Yess 10000% agreed. I mentioned this to my friend before that she should just suck it up and do 1-2 fantasy/xianxa and just be done with it. Then she can do w.e modern drama she wants.
