Guys, Seven's new drama "Road to Home" has released a promotional video! A must watch. A pure romance genre. Masters is a career related drama, so we need one that's the opposite, a pure romance. agreed! I was depressed in my previous job bc the coworkers were shit. I left and now this job, the coworkers are so chill, nice and friendly. They are helpful too, they teach me and aren't afraid to teach me things. Job is stressful, but the colleagues make up for it.

Yes, same! I'm anticipating this more than Flight. I want to see pure romance now instead of another career oriented drama. Yes, I liked that they kept it similar to the novel where lc covered the glare of the sunlight from gc when they watched the sunrise. Love it. Also, didn't expect the kissing scene, they way they turned heads and lc's hand on gx's head. EEEK. I want more heated passionate kisses. I want lots. I hope there's more trailers released later this year. One isn't enough for me, I keep repeating the same video. I really like the snowy scenery, makes everthing so calm and romantic. I'm so glad author chose 7 and 7 accepted.

The promo video is out and I am so for it! So excited! LOVE the snowy feel and scenery, gives it a more romantic mood. The video and poster gives me a retro kdrama feel like late 90s to early 20s. Such as Stairway to Heaven and Autumn Ballad

Ning Meng is the most woke fl in any drama I've watched. She's not some love sick brainless girl . I feel like nothing clouds her judgement, not love or bribery or any advantages. She has her moralities that she doesn't want to cross and she's foregiving but she has a baseline that if others cross she won't forgive. cough cough, her bff's bf. She stands up for her gf, I like that in a loyal friend.

they do end up together, but just don't expect those lovey dovey senseless romance. I think he ends up proposing (if I rmb correctly from the tiny snippet I read in the novel long ago) but she jokingly avoids his proposal.

Exactly. I've seen bad guys in dramas that's done way worse but they don't get the same hate as LJ does

I honestly suspect there could be a few antis. i know for sure Wangjunkai's fans were mad that Master and Rebirth's time slot airing dates were switched. So they took revenge and rated Masters a 1 or 1/2 star on Youku even before it aired. Right now Masters is doing exceptionally well being no. 1 consecutively since the 2nd day it has aired on Vlinkage, no. 1 for 11th days in a row. My friend also said it's been no. 1 since it's second day of airing on Youku. So it doesn't make sense to have a 7.1 rating on Youku. It was 7.5 and then 7.1 the next day, so I know it's wjk's fans doing the deed. I went on Rebirth's mdl to see if there's any mention of Masters and there are a couple comments that mentioned Masters and how they stole Rebirth's time slot and saying shit about this drama....even though they prob didn't watch it.

People like to take it on the weak. it's not any of the actors' fault that Master was changed to air on prime time. It's not like Kenny and Seven has that power. It's Dragon TV that suddenly out of nowhere wanted to air simultaneously with Youku. It's a golden opprtunity for Youku's produced drama to be aired on national tv, so ofc they would agreed to Dragon's terms. So switching the time slot makes perfect sense. Fans should take their anger on Youku not on Kenny or Seven. Also, another way of thinking this, why did Dragon tv chose to air Masters out of all the dramas available?? I feel like that should be a resounding answer already.

I dont really like esport dramas. Whirlwind i watched some scenes bc of 7. If i watched love 020 now i prob wouldnt have liked it since my preference for cdramas is much higher than a decade ago

I think, although he has a bad mouth and low EQ and is pompous to his staff bc he's the chairman and has a good rep in the industry....his character overall isn't too bad. He doesn't lie or manipulate, pretty fair guy and doesnt rip people off.

I never found him dislikable. Ppl said they wanted to slap him and such or hated him. Sure he's rude, but aint all bosses like that. I mean they have that entitlement since they worked their way and endured so much to get to where they are. He is rude to NM but not hateful. He even teaches NM.

this drama is based off on the novel. the script followed closely of SML in the novel and kept him as the antagonist.

OMG, You're thoughts and this comment speaks to me so much! I am 100% with you on this. Love this drama, and I understand why LX likes JJ in a romantic way, I don't find it weird at all, instead I enjoy it. I have been trying to explain to people exactly what you wrote. I feel like we are the only few ones that really understood this drama, while everyone just watched the surface of it. They all want JJ and ZQ to be together, when in fact that's gross since they are the real siblings. If you watch Seven's other short series with BJT called New Generation New Home, the kid actress also plays Seven's younger self.
