Seven finished filming New Gen a few days ago, I think it's been a week now. She's busy with award shows, ad and magazine shoots this month. There's this drama called ZhuYan, and rumored male actor is to be Xiao Zhan, some fans, including me, are hoping it's true and hope the heroine to be Seven. It's rumored to be Seven or Chaoyue. But we don't know until filming starts next year. By the way, love your dp haha, one of my fave scenes in Go Ahead

I don't think this has even been filmed yet. It's going to take a long while before we can see this, or this might not even happen since it wasn't even confirmed.

Idk why but these days, or particularly this year, dramas concerning about "sibling" romance...whether it's adopted or foster kid/sibling, are the rage. I've seen about 3-4recently already. Dropped all of them. Sweet First Love was the worst, the parents basically adopted the girl as their own and the girl grew up in the family treating the boy as her lil bro. But the bro was in love with his sis.....i find that incestuous

This should be taken down now since the director of the first season said there's no plans for 2nd season. So this drama doesn't exist.

omg, yess!!! 10000% agreed! I was watching her in The Wolf, idk who she is, I just thought this kid is really annoying and can't be popular with that face and bad acting. Surprised she's 30 now, 27 in the drama. She literally downgraded the whole drama with her bad acting, why can't they find a better 2nd lead. I'm surprised she's not a newb, but glad she isn't from mainland china cuz I can't stand her acting.

Yea I know. I heard she wanted to quit the drama or acting all together, to perhaps properly grieve I guess. Glad she didn't. During the filming of Go Ahead, it allowed her to heal, but ofc no one really heals from such a tragic incident. Only time will heal.

Yes, he totally saw her in a different light. He actually subtly started to court in her favour such as buying expensive live theatre tickets, encouraging her to audition for the role etc. And the peanut scene outside her apt complex was quite obvious as well. It's just that she has given up on liking him, and set on thinking that being friends with him is much easier and happier bc she can finally be herself. I think it's also bc of being her natural self is what finally caught Zhuang Bei's attention, rather than faking it and trying to be pretty and the perfect girl. I do believe that given time, and if he confessed, they might actually get together.

It goes both ways. People mentioned she doesn't have a "womanly" figure bc she's too tiny, short legged. As well as saying she doesn't fit the appearance of Golden Eagle Goddess.. And her baby face will hinder her from taking different roles that aren't idol romcom, as well as her costarring with more older mature looking men. Wallace worked out bc JXSY is originally a novel about an older male lead marrying a younger female. He's supposed to be over a decade older, so that works out. There was rumour that SWL was to take that role but most fans of the novel opposed bc it needed an older male. But, if she were to do modern drama with much older males like over 40, it might not be as compatible on screen. But from her other drama, Fox's Summer, it was actually ok. Ik for a fact that Seven wants to venture out of idol romcoms and take more different roles. She mentioned in her recent interview that she wanted to take a role as a soldier or something.

Can't agreed more! The director took great care and in detail to put little hints here and there that both LX and JJ have already liked each other romantically. For instances, why and how did Lx notice that JJ needed a bra when none of the men in her family noticed this? It took me a long time, and I've rewatched eps multiple times until it finally clicked! It's bc JJ always liked to hug Lx's arm, in the earlier eps we never see her hug ZQ or her fathers' arm, except LX's. He can feel her pressing against his arm, hence why he noticed she's growing up and needed a bra. Also, this hugging of the arm is such a habit that only pertains to people in a romantic relationship. The scene when LX told JJ to remove her arm bc teachers were patrolling the area looking for students that were in early relationships/love...later on the teachers yelled at them for being in love too young. That scene showed JJ's behaviour toward LX is similar to how a gf acts towards a bf. Hence, why from afar, the teachers would mistaken them as lovers. So in a sense, JJ already behaved differently towards LX, very much as lovers than siblings.

And as if it wasn't enough, near the end of the drama, ZQ questioned and accused JJ of treating him and LX differently and that she always listened and followed LX around. He questioned whether she already liked LX back then already.

I feel like others are so stubborn on wanting this drama to be family centered that they will automatically find it gross and incest that LX and JJ got together. A few don't like the couple, but I absolutely adore them. I find them to be the most steady and long lasting couple, as they started out as family and have grown their feelings from there. They have known each other for 2 decades, so they have a solid understanding of each other. It's rare to find this in other dramas where CP literally get together within a week of knowing each other. Or it's falling in love at first sight.

These days, there are tons of childhood sweethearts finding each other and falling in love again. There is one that I actually find it incest, it's called Sweet First Love. The fl lived with the ml's family every since her parents died of a car crash. So they have been living together since young, as kids, and the ml-younger brother- has feelings for her (idk when he started to have these feelings). He acts like a deranged jealous bf, and she acts like a dumb clueless damsel in distress all the time. They live under the same roof, his parents treat her as their own daughter and she calls his parents mom and dad. No one in school knows that she's adopted, they all think they are blood siblings. Unlike JJ, where she announces to the wholeworld that LX and ZQ are her neighbourhood bro and foster bro. Anyways, psychologically this fl treats and sees the ml as her younger brother. So to all of a sudden have her accept him as a lover is just wrong and doesn't make sense. There's no flow to this transition.

Seven, the actress as JJ, has been acting for 15years. It's just that she has a baby face so she can pass as a teen easily.

Honestly, this drama doesn't resemble Reply bc it's set in a more modern time. It's basically my time era. I'm not saying it has to resemble Reply series bc i don't really care for it. But if you really want one, Seven, the actress in this drama, has a new drama called Dear Mayang Street and it's a 80s drama. You can try that but good luck with finding subs.
