Butterfly Sniper has 2 decade difference and there's no awkwardness. I agree with the previous comment that not everyone has to eat each other's face to be considered having chemistry. Different character's personality and what's appropriate should be considered.

Yea, I feel like the broadcasting schedule is doing a big disservice to the drama. it's airing at a weird time that no one watches drama, like at noon, everyone is working. It's definitely not primetime, but it's still doing pretty decent in terms of rating and stuff. It's also spread thin on platforms, 3 platforms is a bit too much. Unfortuntaely, bc CCTV8 rarely ever air fantasy dramas, XY couldn't get the prime spot, instead it got the noon time and CCTV has a tight schedule, so there's prob another drama lining up after XY, all other web platforms have to go by the CCTV schedule.

She probably will continue to promote XY, and then appear in hunan annual performance with Sheng Yu and Wangchuran. She even said she's not reading any scripts. Typically, she would have a drama she's chosen already but perhaps she wanted a break. She did film MD and Against the current back to back.

haha, that also confirms her skill. It's not easy to have dramas air on TV. I'm not going to be ignorant or object, but sometimes there are certain scenes where her voice doesn't fit. Like the screaming or yelping part doesn't quite fit haha.

For those that think the two demon friends that are with xy are too naive and stupid, I think that's bc they've never experienced life, they probably have been living in Demon Valley and never went to human world. They've only lived in their protective bubble. I do hope that the adventures they have with xy will help them grow. I've first hand can understand how a person that's been protected and babied their whole life can act like a child when the person is already an adult. They will rely on the capable person, and become super anxious when the individual they depend on is not there to help them or if unexpected things happen and they can't problem solve themselves. So from this perspective, don't be too harsh on these naive friends haha

Right! It's the selfish human nature that led the siblings to this stage. There's evil and good demons, same as human. I'm not against killing demons in this drama, but they should be proven guilty first or know for sure they did evil things. That's why it's so hard to have demons and human live together in harmony.
