"Even though I know you will regret it one day, I must respect your current wishes" Where tf do I find a guy/bro like that. This princess doesn't deserve a brother like that. All she thnks about is this fken guy that didn't even save her but let her go bc she's a girl. Pssh, if it was FSG, if he saw enemy, female or not, he would've killed her and there wouldn't be a character like that alive now.
I can't say enough how I love ml's ruthlessness. He's very fair, and not bias to females. Other ml wouldn't hit females, but for fsg, he's all about gender equality. He will torture and kill a female until he gets what he needs. Yes, he has his boundaries, but it's definitely low haha. Also, he didn't show bias when he initially tortured fl in the first couple of eps bc in his eyes she's enemy and the person that almost killed him.
Ep 15, ml blatantly shows disrespect to the queen by throwing the subordinate (her distant relative) at the brick wall. That's something I was not expecting, typically most ml would just reluctantly return the henchman. Also, the words he spoke to his father/king, without fear or care. A breath of fresh air, I don't have to be suffocated when watching this drama.
A comment from cnez: 我觉得武指真的可以,就是女主打戏不光好看还看起很痛,很有力量感,男性那种力量感,很少见这种。以前那些说打戏好的,只有好看但没有力量。 I think the action choreography is really good. The female lead's fight scenes are not only beautiful but also painful to watch. There is a sense of power, a sense of power that is rare in men. Those who said the fight scenes were good before, only looked good but lacked power.
FSG is known as god of war, ruthless killer and for once a character that lives up to those names. When he was ruthlessly punching fl (that was a bit hard to stomach for me), and then my fave part was him breaking/strangling the neck of prime minister's god son-that was so charasmatic and cool. I like that he didn't hesitate or feel remorse. The beginning eps were already a great start,
This is first drama I'm watching of CZY. I've seen a bit of him in Hidden Love but it wasn't my tea. I actually get his charm, he's quite cute and handsome. The hair style is really doing it for him, and all his attire in this drama looks so luxurious. LQ has always been great with acting, and I hope this drama explodes and she gets the recognization she deserves!!
I've been reading a lot of passerby's impressions of this drama and it's all positive notes.
This princess, I'm so speechless sometimes I want to slap her. All she thinks about is love, she's so selfish. She never thinks of her brother, who dotes on her and thinks for her, what she says would hurt his feelings. What makes her think the enemy prince would fall in love with her?
The king defintely doesn't hate FSG. ML does some bold stuff that if the king really hated his son, the king could've used the opportunity to punish ml. It's more like molding him to be a person that can criticall strategize and self help, train to take over the throne. Tough love basically.
She must feel even more guilty after knowing HM deception. She put her grandmother aside for someone who actually…
He called her a gold digger and to keep the pretend play for both parties benefits. He most likely subconsciously started falling in love with her. But he only realized after the breakup.
I teared up on the scene where XY told grandma not to come to her wedding bc it's too far, given her old age and health. Both parties feel regretful and sad and acting to hide each other's feelings. Grandma making jokes to lessen the guilt XY feels, she must've been heartbroken and disappointed bc she's the granddaughter she's doted on and wanted to witness her special moment. While, XY must've been guilt ridden, and I'm sure she wanted to share this special moment with the only person that gave her unconditional love, yet she didn't want to risk it. Both joking to hide the pain.
On ep 5 only, and I gotta say the paid actors, fraudsters, aka fl's fake parents are very quick witted when meeting her real bio parents. I would hire them haha. Side note, I really hate the bio dad. When he prevented fl from taking the national exam for uni entrance, and she confronted him and spilled all her scars and wounds to him, he had no inclination of realization he was a shit dad to her. Instead, he said he did his duty to cloth, feed and put a roof on her head, yet those are the most basic fundamentals in raising a child. I don't want any redemption from him.
I love Hou Ming Hao (and he's getting better with each new role) but I am not a huge fan of Tan Song Yun. I find…
To each their own. Tsy gets praised for Portraying small details in a natural way. It’s a first I’ve heard someone view this negatively , but I would still definitely give this a chance because of the Director and the CGI
I wholeheartedly agree
