A lot of perspectives, not just here, but on the Internet in general for this drama are somewhat leaning towards misogynist. It’s very double standard. After the break up, Ml is heartbroken and cries, etc., and the whole Internet is on his side feeling bad for him saying female is not worth it, Telling him to find another etc. But, if it was switched and fl Was crying and heartbroken and still pining over ml then People will say she’s foolish, dumb, stupid, that all she can think about are men and love. If the fl is rational and logical and goes about her day after break up and not pining and crying over ml then internet says she’s a cold hearted bitch. It if was ml they would say he’s so cool and handsome. I’ve seen this in most dramas.

You must not have worked in a corporate job, or how HR works. In my office, we had a higher up person leave her position, did she announce it to the whole office herself? No, she didn’t say nothing, it was the manager that sent the email to the whole office. That person just worked until her last day, manager did a farewell lunch, and that higher up left/resigned on the same day

cp means couple, lhr is an actor in With You that starred 7. it was a really popular drama that was one of the first batch of youth drama and it's one of the OGs. It was really popular and lhr and 7 had great chemistry and off screen chemistry too. but oynn and lhr cp fans were angry with7 and became horrible antis. So 7 decided to not create any cp hype and she's always been careful and had this boundary between her male costars.

I'm aware of LHR incident and why she doesn't promote CP, hence why I find this cp so refreshing and glad that she's finally opening up again. I think it really depends on the collaboration, I see bailu and Luo yunxi collaborating twice already. Yes, totally agree. I can see his apprehension of what would happen when she finds out the truth. He already knew things would probably go for the worst and she would leave him so he was doing everything he can to somewhat rectify that and thought by officially introducing each other to the families it would somewhat solidify their relationship and the depths of it. JX will prove later on that she's not a weakness or a hindrance for him, but a partner that can stand on top of the mountain with him. This drama is about fl's growth, from a naive girl that makes some decisions base on emotion bc of the lack of experience and such. I enjoy how HT mentors her and gives her life lessons and values and it gets her thinking retrospectively and she changes and learns to become a better business woman. I think it's also one of his way of showing his love. It's not just doting, gifting and doing lovey dovey stuff to show love, HT is teaching JX to be an independent person, that can hold her own front in front of challenges. That if they ever do seperate, without him, she can still stand on her own foot in front of wolves. I really enjoy wathing the scenes where HT gives JX life lessons.

I've never seen a husband/bf or anyone help their gf/wife put on earrings, it's always neckaces or bracelet, so this is very refreshing to me.
