Well this isn’t an actual spoiler of the drama but as far as I know the FL character is based off Imperial Noble Consort Dunsu from the Nian clan, sister of Nian Gengyao (just like in the drama), who was a consort to the Yongzheng Emperor which right now is the 4th prince (while in the Kangxi reign) so idk for sure what the ending will be but I don’t think they’ll differ too much from the actual history so it looks like she’ll somehow end up with the 4th prince :(
OMG, this drama is so good! I regret so much not watching it before I'm so hooked I can't stop watching it! I've loved every single episode, I'd read online that the first part was a little boring and slow but it was definitely not the case at all.<3 I love it and the romance part hasn't even started yet!

The FL in the novel is indeed one of a kind, she knows when to be intelligent and when to act foolish, she also controls her emotions and actions pretty well, she's bold which I love and she has a great strong personality I love her and the novel too! The ML completely forgot about his other concubines when he fell for FL which is cute <3 When I finish TBAVW I'll definitely check out your other recommendation! Yes, I've heard he apparently is more likable in the drama than in the novel :o Yes like I can totally see why he did what he did but still he murdered her whole family and I don't think he can be forgiven:( Well honestly I love palace dramas so the concubine situation is a well-known field to me and doesn't bother me that much and as I've said he loves her in a pretty twisted way so him having concubines wasn't that much of a surprise and plus for what I've read in the comment section it looks like his concubine-to-be Sese (I believe that's her name not really sure tho) is more a political tool than a real love interest... I'm excited to see what will happen after marriage but also scared bc this drama is really wrecking my feelings lol I'm also really glad I found a friend to talk about this drama and that will give me their opinions and views of it! glad to have bumped into you on this comment section. I also really want ML to suffer and be miserable! and same here I want the resolution Xiao Feng had before jumping into the river she was amazing not caring about anything but the fact that he betrayed her.
