I believe it’s because he’s not in the direct line of succession, he’s neither the current king’s brother or the current king's son (he’s the son of one of the king’s brother) so technically he’s not a heir to the throne at least not by tradition, he can indeed inherit the throne but in like special circumstances like the king not having a heir or there’s no one in line before him like one of the king's brothers. The king is potentially letting him live because he doesn’t seem to care (now we know this ain’t true) and he can’t just go around killing the imperial family, it’d leave a bad impression in history and to the people lol

I knew it! I knew it! I KNEW IT! He was too perfect and kind it was kinda suspicious!!! Even tho I expected him to have at the very least one flaw I didn’t expected him to be a grand prince and the future King Injo or to be a psycho either lol that’s an interesting plot twist :o

I can’t find any motivation to keep watching. I’m not usually picky with dramas at all but this doesn’t excite me any more, I really can’t bring myself to watch it even tho I love everyone in it;u; I'll drop this and wait for it to hopefully turn interesting again :( I’m sorry Min Jae I’ve failed you

I’m feeling like a complete weirdo rn bc it seems that mostly everyone dislike this drama but I’m having a blast watching it ??? I look forward to it all week and laugh a lot while watching it lol it’s true the funny expressions are kinda over the top but I still like it and it’s funny to me ;u;

Don't get me wrong I'm excited about this...but I'm also quite confused about the costumes that they're wearing in He Hong Shang's latest photos about this drama (https://twitter.com/dramapotatoe/status/1177235370645176320?s=20) as far as I can tell they're definitely not wearing Qing dynasty costumes at all, not even the hairstyles match (especially Peter Ho's) and this drama is supposed to be set in that period so I'm puzzled about it and not gonna lie, almost bothered by it lol

it seems it will :o omg I haven't noticed...maybe the airing date is wrong or they'll change the schedule to 2 per week? but if it does continues the same, then yes, it'll finish airing on October 1st and the subs on October 3rd ^u^

I believe they come out every week on YouTube after the caps (4 caps, 2 per day) air on Monday and Tuesday, then the subs come out on Wednesday and Thursday (same schedule: 2 caps per day)...or at least that’s what has happened till now :)

More like a bittersweet one, it’s not completely happy but it doesn’t leave your heart in a wreck either, it’s a relatively calm and full filling one ❤️ I say you give it a shot! honestly is one of the best dramas I’ve ever watched 10/10

They just need to keep it up for 3 more chapters and give us a fulfilling ending, it doesn't have to be exactly happy but just bittersweet enough, and this will be one of the best dramas ever! and surely (if a better one doesn't come out, which I don't think it'll happen because it's already late August lol, and plus tbh this will be HARD to surpass) the best kdrama of 2019!!! <3 Hotel del Luna fighting!! <3
