I see you have not watched Yaoi in the first place :D...The first minute of this drama is actually one of the…
I see these rape comments more and more often these days. Just like you said, it isnt rape but rape fantasy. There is a big difference. Rape fantasy was born in the old bodice ripper romance novels and it's all about desire or rather, a womans need to be so desired that a man is willing to take her by force just to have her. Real rape has nothing to do with sexual desire and everything to do with a power imbalance and one persons need to hurt and commit violence against another.
This was the first BL I ever watched, long before I even understood what BL was. Honestly, I could never make it past the first 20 minutes back then. I finally watched both parts, with the happy ending, and thought this was very good. The acting was well done and locations were great, especially the nice houses. A lot of people are saying Xie Yan is toxic, and it's true, he is at first but he grows into a caring, loving man.
The NC scene was beautiful done and the kisses were passionate and also well done.
The only thing I didnt get was the fiance. I have no idea what she was up to and I felt like that whole situation was never explained.
That said, this is definitely going to be a BL I rewatch over and over. I am really surprised this BL doesnt ever appear on any recommended BL lists I've ever seen.
LOL!!! "If anybody comes, dont open the door." "Right, we wont open the door." A suspicious, angry-looking dude comes five mins later asking for dishes. Kim opens the door. If Kim dies it'll be his own stupid fault. HAHA!!!
First episode was very good. The creepy sponsor dude scene was hard to watch because I know that kind of thing happens all the time with both actors and actresses. And not just with sponsors. Consider what the KP writers did to some of the cast members. And it doesnt seem to matter what country the production is in either. This kind of thing happens everywhere. Harvey Weinstein was, I'm sure, just the tip of the iceberg of the crap that happens here in America.
That manager lady is really something else. How she spoke about that young actor right in front of him was terrible. Honestly, I sometimes wonder why anybody would ever want to be an entertainer.
So I finally watched cutie pie. I was shilly shally to start this because of the rating. I wonder whether I watched…
Yeah, I have found I cannot trust any of the rating here, except for Check Out. LOL! I am reading the novel and so far the drama matches up pretty well with the novel.
It's on Meb. I purchased the English version and the translation is pretty well done. You have to have the app to get it though. For some reason I could never sign up via my computer. Meb actually has several English translated Thai BL novels. You can search for them using Google translate.
I'm enjoying this so far. There are a lot of comments saying it's too dramatic, but I am not seeing that myself. I do admit that the apple thing is pretty weird but I can overlook that. I get why Sun carries them around, but why so many? It's weird but again, not a big deal. The chemistry between the two main couples is wonderful and the acting is good so far. I like this spicier Fluke. I hope they keep it up.
So far this is very enjoyable. The acting is really great and I love that they are using the actors from Bad Buddy. I am glad I finished BB before starting this show because it is just that much cuter to me knowing who was who in BB.
After seeing a different trailer I decided to stick with this. Maybe I really just want to see more of Chahubs body. That's probably it.
Anyway, ep 7 was much better and I will hope for a better future for this show. Episodes 3 through 6 are completely useless. People should just watch episodes0-2 then skip straight to ep 7. This really should've been a 6 or 8 episode show and only if they were able to develop a far better plot than what they have going now.

Ok, I have to drop this series now after EP 6 went absolutely nowhere. It's really a pity because they could have done so much with the story.
They casually slipped something really important into an unimportant conversation: Praew is bipolar. That could have made this whole series very interesting if they had worked with that. I think they have been dropping hints all along but this kind of thing deserves much more than hints.
Then there is Nine questioning his sexuality by trying other men. That should have played a much bigger part as well. I mean, picture it - Nine, a super hot, really manly man struggling with a mentally ill ex who screwed him over and trying to figure out his sexuality at the same time and also feeling really guilty over ghosting Dao whom he made a real connection with. Think of how hot it would've been to see his vulnerability in this situation. I dont know about anybody else, but a strong man showing his vulnerability is just about the hottest thing to see in a drama.
Then you have Dao, who could be struggling to try to understand what Nine is going through while figuring out what exactly he wants out of his relationship with Tee. Instead of acting like a spoiled brat, he could have shown some real courage in the face of what Nine is going through. This would make turning Nine down so much more difficult and would be a far better reason for him to continue to get physical with Nine.
Honestly, the writers and director really messed this up. The actual story could have given us a hot, angsty mess of emotions but instead, each episode just goes absolutely nowhere and they all act like children.
