Edge-of-Your-Seat Suspense? No. Compelling Drama? Yes!
Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin, two of my favorite actors, brought their A-game to this series, delivering deeply nuanced performances as emotionally flawed characters. Their chemistry and range truly elevated the story.I also enjoyed the ensemble cast and appreciated how the writers explored the complexities of relationships, though I felt the script could have delved deeper into the these themes.
The flash-forwards to the investigative timeline initially added some intrigue, but they ultimately felt purposeless as the series progressed. I haven't read The Trunk, so I'm not sure if solving the 'crime' was a key element in the original story, but in the show it came across more as an afterthought than a meaningful part of the narrative.
Overall had a good time.

A drama worthy of your entire weekend!
Reset is an an exceptional Chinese drama that had me hooked from the first episode-I binged it in one sitting! The expertly executed storytelling and compelling ensemble cast brought the intriguing plot to life. The time loop concept was handled masterfully, keeping me on the edge as I tried to piece together why everything was happening. Each twist added depth making the show impossible to pause. For fans of time loop dramas, Reset is a must-watch. It's thrilling thought provoking, and endlessly engaging. Highly recommend! Was this review helpful to you?

Fueled by Justice, Fed by Romance Crumbs
Workplace drama? Crime and justice? Yes, please. Unmasked delivered exactly the kind of case-of-the-week intrigue I love, while still giving space for strong characters and office dynamics. Don’t come in expecting Seoul Busters levels of goofiness—it’s not that—but it’s still a fun and engaging ride. The only downside? It felt a little short in the end, like a couple more episodes could’ve tied things up. And let’s be real, the fumes of office romance kept me alive the whole way through 😂.Was this review helpful to you?

Fun action scenes and an unrealistic antagonist
This show had so much potential in the first half, and I really wanted to like it. The cast is incredibly talented and honestly the only reason I stuck it out until the end.Unfortunately, the story never felt complete to me—especially when it came to the characters. The only one who truly felt fleshed out was Park Bo Gum’s character. There was an attempt to build depth for the antagonist and his network of cronies, but it ended up feeling uneven: we were given a lot of details, yet somehow still not enough to truly understand them.
In the end, strong acting carried a weak narrative, leaving me wishing the writing had matched the cast’s potential.
