Title Till the End of the Moon Spoiler
He will die without evil bone
Yea i'm not too sure lol. In the translation it says that she creates a fake divine marrow, imbeds it into her immortal soul, and it becomes a real divine marrow that she then exchanges for the evil bone. So maybe she just uses her soul to make him a divine marrow but doesn't actually give him hers? I don't fully understand the process πŸ˜‚

I'm confused about something... if the reason that she has to make him fall in love with her is so that she can…
He will die without the evil bone, so xi wu sacrifices herself by giving him a divine marrow (i think that's what it's called) in exchange for destroying the evil bone. This is why TTJ survives and becomes immortal.

I love that they added in those reminders of her trauma. Many people don't give her any sympathy or understanding…
Yup. And also unfortunately innocent people were also killed, not just those that did him wrong. So both characters point of views are understandable.

Also, I LOVE how we get to see the flashes of TTJ in his current form and in his demon era, form YXW's perspective.…
I love that they added in those reminders of her trauma. Many people don't give her any sympathy or understanding for what she's been through and is still going through. Unfortunately, just like TTJ she's also suffering.

Episode 23 trailer: https://www.douyin.com/video/7222959122994580776
WOAH don't tell me they made YBC even more of a b*tch in the drama?! πŸ‘€ Because I was wondering how she comes into the picture so soon when it doesn't seem like XL dies just yet. In the novel I think she comes about 6 months after he died. If she actually betrays him for TTJ that's crazy. I'll hate her even more 😭

@ShortCircuit Yes but I can imagine it would be very hard to always separate the two. I know for me it sure would be. And even if it wasn't exactly him it's still in some way tied to TTJ, especially with him continuing to consume demons. She was told that his love thread needed to grow, and she's also clearly becoming conflicted, so it's not like she's just doing this for fun and games. But of course as we'll see later, she'll find another way to complete her mission. And she suffers too so it's unfortunate for both leads.

Although I wish she would've asked him for an explanation on why he killed those people, the flashbacks that she had of her family dying makes me understand her more. I think people forget just how traumatic that was for SS to witness TTJ kill her clan back in episode 1. And he definitely didn't give her the news in the best way either according to the trailer. It reminds me of the mistakes that Sang Jiu and Ming Ye made. Ugh I feel for both of them.

Will definitely be joining the yxw/lss defense squad because i'm tired of people not understanding where she's coming from lol. It sucks to see TTJ get hurt but I feel really bad for SS having such a huge burden on her shoulders alone. And I love that despite her obviously growing feelings she's still remaining more rational about her mission. I'm not looking forward to the upcoming angst though that's for sure 😭

Wait does she become the actual empress? I haven't finished the novel but from where I left off she was TTJ's concubine : (

I like that she's still focused on her mission. It's her family she lost so it would look very out of character…
I love your comment! I think because we love TTJ now it's easy to forget the mass destruction that he caused in episode 1 after he became the future devil god. But SS can't just forget that. SS actually has a huge burden on her shoulders so I appreciate when viewers don't just judge her.

I liked the first half but after that the excitement fizzled out and I mainly continued watching this for Ding Yu Xi. I think he's a really charming actor and great to watch on screen. He has beautifully expressive eyes too. Peng Xiao Ran was a pleasant surprise for me as I had never watched her stuff before, so I'll be checking out her other works in the future. Overall I didn't love this drama but I thought it was still pretty decent.

One thing I hate about c-dramas is once the leads fall in love they turn to simps, devoid of all personality beyond…
I agree. It's bitter sweet for me as someone who is reading the novel. In the novel he's much more undoubtedly evil and the story gets super twisted and dark at times which was something I actually really liked. On one hand I love the drama's ml, but a part of me also wishes he was just a bit closer to how he was in the novel. But average viewers and censorship might not have liked that lol. Either way this is just a small complaint for me as i'm having a lot of fun with this drama and the leads chemistry.

Yes it seem like a never-ending cycle of a drama getting popular, then another popular drama coming along, then fans and antis getting mad about it lol

We're talking about different things. General comparisons are fine, but what i'm referring to are the hateful comments. Such as insulting other actors to uplift your favorites, or getting overly defensive and rude over other people preferring one drama over the other. None of that is necessary.

Why do some people always feel the need to bring down other dramas and actors when it's not even necessary? LBFAD and this are different. Are there some similarities? Sure. But overall the dramas are different, both dramas are successful, and all the actos are successful too. There's no need to compete or fight over it lol.

I see what you mean but just because I expressed my opinion and disagreement with one of her takes under their comment doesn't mean I agree with the insults either. The person I replied to didn't seem to insult them, or at least I didn't see anything when I commented at the time.
