I cannot believe so many people named this as one of the best thai lakorns. The 2 leads were pretty good actors and I do think they looked cute together visually. But that aside, the plot was so bad and none of the characters' actions made sense, especially the main male lead. The main male lead was just completely ridiculous and infuriating. I understand that he was hurt about a few things, but a lot of his actions became completely irrational, especially because he never stopped to actually think things through. I was so excited for this after hearing good things about it but this lakorn turned out to be a disappointment for me. Like I said before I do think the main couple has good chemistry, but it wasn't enough to save this drama for me personally. I'd love to see the main leads in another drama in the future though.
So is he basically also admitting to the sexual assault allegations too or has he not responded to that? Because that is what disturbs me the most. Exactly. I'm staying neautral until more comes out. People don't understand that staying neutral does not mean you are blaming or accusing the alleged victim. A lot of people are too quick to either persecute a person who is being accused or they're too quick to blame the person who is doing the accusing. Yup. She always treated him as a good friend. And I noticed that she actually seemed almost uncomfortable whenever she got certain affection from him that bordered on being more than just friendly. Some will disagree with that but that's what I noticed and I don't mean it in a bad way. My point is you could tell in her actions that she didn't view him as more than a good friend.

Yup and what you pointed out is exactly what too many people are ignoring. The important difference is that with Seojun the feelings were one way, whereas with Suho the feelings were reciprocated from BOTH sides. And this was very clear. It's almost disturbing how some people are blatantly downplaying and invalidating Jugyung's feelings because things like this happen a lot in real life.
Some people just can't accept that Seojun was never an option for her. That's why I never shipped him and Jugyung because it was always clear that she never reciprocated his feelings. And she didn't owe him that either. Be careful not to encourage problematic mentalities. You never owe anyone anything more just because they have feelings for you. If you cannot reciprocate their feelings then that is absolutely ok, just always be clear about it. Yes the drama DEFINITELY dragged out the love triangle for too long and for no reason, which I unfortunately figured they would, but putting that aside Jugyung ended up with the right guy for HER.

She couldn't force her feelings to change and that's exactly why her and Seojun were unfortunately just not meant to be together. In my opinion Seojun should be with someone who could love him equally and Jugyung couldn't give him that. But I also wish the drama had not stuck to the plot of Suho leaving. I understand it was in the webtoon but I honestly don't think they needed to bring that plotline into this drama.

I think Darren Wang really stood out in this drama. His performance was great and I thought he really shined in his role. There were many scenes where my eyes would focus solely on Darren and that's because there's something about Darren that is just really captivating. No one but him can play this role as successfully as he did. He truly was the star in this show for me. I'm new to Li Qin but she was great too and very beautiful. Her and Darren had good chemistry. It has its flaws but overall I did like this drama and I would recommend it. But beware, the ending is quite sad.
