I'm almost finished and so far I have to say Suzy is actually very captivating as Doona. She's doing great in this role.

It was quick but that scene in episode 5 where her father (while possessed) told her mom that he would kill their 2nd baby was so scary. I was genuinely creeped out.

It's because you don't search for other actresses lol. Lusi has a lot of hit dramas so that's why you feel like she's everywhere but there are plenty of other successful actresses with good dramas as well if you want someone else. Just go watch their dramas.

It's been a while since i've given a drama a 10 out of 10 rating. Of course everyone's preferences will be different, but for me this was a perfect contemporary romance drama with little to no flaws. I loved the romance and chemistry, I loved the scenes with the leads family and friends, the setting, aesthetics, the clothes. I loved everything. I also appreciated the way that they dealt with the age gap of the lead couple. I would say this is a "feel-good" or "comfort" drama.

Just finished my rewatch and loved it just as much as I did the first time. No matter how much some people try to hate on it (emphasis on the word "hate" because personal opinion is different!) this drama gave us something special. And if it's possible I also hope to see Dylan and Esther work together again one day.

Yes the drama is very cliche but so far it's actually fun and cute and i'm enjoying it more than I initially expected. I really like the chemistry of the cast and the comedy works well for me.

@SreyRath @EverythingSoso Sometimes I wonder if they're even watching lol. Like when people question why she's doing certain things when the drama clearly explains her thought process and actions. I'm convinced that people see a hot male lead and go blind and deaf to everything else about the story. Both leads are suffering, not just 1.

Exactly. If they want a romance drama where the fml does nothing but cater to the ml then there are PLENTY of those available for them to watch. We've had so many dramas where the ml was an insufferable a**hole but still gets the girl in the end. I like that it's different this time. Although LSS is being cruel she's being cruel to both TTJ and herself, because she's definitely not pushing him away just because she wants to. It's clear she's under a lot of pressure to do the "right" thing. It's a lot to deal with and honestly if I were her i'd want to give up lol.

Yea so trust me you're not naive! I've loved so many shows regardless of my opinions on the quality lol. And with that battle you mentioned I think I know what you mean. I actually preferred the recent fight between TTJ and XL after the festival.

If you love it then by all means continue to do so. Although I still enjoy the drama overall, I found that the first 10 or so episodes were very strong in all aspects. But after that I felt like the editing has become very choppy and messy, especially recently. For me it has effected the build up and pacing of the overall story. But that's just my opinion.

Personally I was very underwhelmed by episode 28. Unfortunately I didn't love it the way I hoped I would and I think it's largely because of the editing. But the acting from the leads is phenomenal and honestly their acting is what saved it for me.

Her time as a prisoner after the nails is nowhere near as horrific as the novel and I am so thankful for that. But even with the changes it's still painful and full of angst for the main leads 🤧

the new schedule is 2 episodes on Sundays and 1 episode on Monday through Thursday. No episodes on Fridays or Saturdays.

Let me go rewatch scenes from Love is Sweet while I wait for new episodes. I need to heal 😭

They leave me with so much angst and stress, but I can't help but love them regardless. Maybe I am a masochist : (
