You're welcome, and I think that the reason why it may seem like this is because the FL was heavily shaped by her past and her parents' teachings. In the plot, she was brainwashed by her parents into thinking that no matter what, she must have her eyes on the goal, and she had to emerge victorious, which clashed with her emotions towards the ML. I believe that the ML is the one who fell first, but eventually she also realised that she wouldn't just consider herself. How the two characters act is heavily reliant on their pasts, and eventually, within the plot, the FL gradually came to understand the ML better, and they experienced many emotions and ups and downs with each other. I do think this happens later on in the plot, though, but also keep in mind that trailers are usually designed to seem one way to draw the audience in, but might end up in a completely different way, and the two actors might not be saying everything. Maybe deep down, the FL also developed emotions early on, she just didn't allow herself to see past her goals or maybe there were certain circumstances.
