I have mad respect for Ji Bozai. But, if we’re being honest, he’s slow as hell. Took him forever to put two…
Situ Ling met her before and saw her drawing her weapon with which he was familiar with, besides, you have to look deeper into the character and their pasts/environments.
🥳🥳🥳 Congrats to Hou Minghao for his drama Love in the Clouds crossing 10,000 heat index!! 🥳🥳🥳
Thank you for all your hard work and for bringing Ji Bozai to life. Thank you for all you sacrificed for this drama and for us. Thank you for all the iconic scenes, and thank you for all the directing you did behind the scenes. Thank you for all you did quietly without telling anyone else. Thank you for never giving up, for never leaving us. Thank you to the production team for waiting half a year for Hou Minghao.
I'm so glad all his hard work is finally paying off. I feel like a proud mother 🥹
Heat index is also very important; here’s a post explaining heat index:https://kisskh.at/list/Ln8MaQw4Here's…
I don't think Youku looks at their international app for heat index; they only look at the Chinese version of the app, but you can still support him by sending him stars for the character ranking, and commenting, liking, rewatching... etc, would still benefit the drama
I thought the heat index only counted if you were a Chinese viewer?
Yes, Youku only counts the heat index from Youku China (the Chinese version of the app), but rewatching, commenting, using hashtags... etc. would still benefit the show
So if you watch youkou from US that would not contribute ?
If you're not using Youku China, then it won't contribute to the heat index, but it will still benefit the show if you do the above for Youku international
Here's some ways you can contribute to the heat index:
Watch the drama episodes multiple times, even replays help - Keep video running instead of skipping Do not skip any parts of an episode in the drama (including the opening and ending) or play at a faster speed, just watch on normal speed Use bullet comments actively to increase engagement, like share and comment under episodes and related clips Add the drama and the drama osts to your favourites/playlists Watch behind-the-scenes, trailers, MV cuts, interviews, and fan-made clips officially posted on Youku — these views also count toward the heat index. Share official Youku links on Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, etc. If you do not have these platforms, you can also share on whichever other platforms you have (Rednote, Tiktok etc.), it will still help with engagement if you have the tags and will bring in more watchers Hashtags with the drama name and Hou Minghao increase external traffic back to Youku, boosting the index. (For the sake of this, no hate but rather not include LYX and other cast members). Watching as a VIP subscriber can weigh more since paid viewing shows higher engagement value to the platform. Real time engagement is very important, tune in when new episodes drop, as early spikes in viewership create trending momentum. Participate in real time comment floods when the drama is airing. Try watching with a large group, coordinate group watchings with other fans on different devices as each device would count as one more person to the viewers. Get friends/family to re-watch together.
The heat index grew tremendously yesterday, we're currently at 9895/10,000. Today's our best chance, please everyone do what you can, let's try break 10,000 today!!

Anyone know what the dark marks on his neck represent? It might've made more sense if it appeared after he got poisoned by the Li Hen Tian, but he has had these marks since he was a child (see link 2).
I read a spoiler somewhere from someone who had supposedly read the script. They said that Ji Bozai's biological mother (the one who switched him with another child) had placed some kind of poison/tracker on him to know if he was still alive, so maybe it's that?
But I also saw that Mu Qibai in episode 20, when the demons lost control and began corroding him, similar marks started appearing on his face, so I don't know, maybe there's some kind of connection there??
