why was khen bleeding from his forehead?? i think their car crashed during that first stormy night and khen hit his head and is dreaming about the rest of the story
the tension had me clutching my pillow like my life depended on it. the only thing i would have liked is if the ending wasn't the set up to ULS but in stead what happened after the events of that show. anyway these two did not come to play with the chemistry OOF
i think it will be really fun if they get a sequel movie. there's so much left to work with and i would love to see their relationship a few years down the line
I don't see her as protecting Kohei so much as trying to sabotage the competition. That twisting of the boar analogy…
huh, i don't think i pick up on the romantic intentions that you are talking about, maybe if they make it more explicit then i will believe, but for now i am quite enjoying their dynamic cause its harmless and funny to me.
and about that malicious comment, it was just her one of those hard hitting statements and it just cements her as an extremely cynical character. i also feel like she represents the old kohei, the one who was detached from the world, but kohei has truly changed after meeting taichi so its a nice parallel to draw.

i don't see her that way at all. i didn't get any ounce of romantic feelings towards kohei, if anything they might pair her up with yasu, the film guy.
she is just a cynical character and she behaves that way towards everyone, not just taichi. remember how she and taichi got into a fight about yoko? she is just very judgemental, doesn't trust anyone easily, and wants the people close to her to be as cautious as her.
all in all i dont see her as the epitome of evil who is conspiring to keep the leads separate, that's just the writers who haven't advanced the romance plot in like 4 episodes. i hope she gets a character development as well and puts her guard down a bit, maybe taichi and yasu will make her realise that everyone isn't as bad as she thinks them to be.
maya's dynamic with taichi and kohei is so funny, she's like the little sister who has taken it upon herself to protect her brother from the "evil" brother in law and i love how she bickers with taichi, and even after all of that kohei is like "taichi is my king 😍" and she just sits back and goes god this guy can't be saved he is too far gone to the evil side dgkshdks
