hii don't know if you know or saw but it's the story of haruna ai and she was actually there during the filming and everything, she even did 8ntervkews with haruki mochizuki. It's first and foremost her story and how she wanted to tell it so I really think that it's weird you think that some parts should "piss off trans people" because everything was validated by her, a trans woman, if she thinks that's it's fine to present her story like this why would you think that it's not.

If the first person involved thinks it's a good representation, or that it shows exactly what she wants to show, I think that says enough about the film and why your opinion doesn't make sense. Also saw other japanese trans people saying that it's a good movie. Just wanted to tell you that :)

also wanna say that I think that not every lgbtqia+ movie needs to be sad or show how hard life can be, sometimes we just need a happy little story with glitter and a hopeful ending and it's ok

it looks like you think that the only way to portray the story of a trans person is in a sad way
maybe haruna ai just didn't want to show that part of her story

ep 9 might be the best for the moment SOMETHING IS FINALLY HAPPENING, been really bored since ep 2 because I feel like I'm seeing the same things over and over and it's a whole lot of nothing but we might get out of the empty part of the story

if you've watched the first season then you know taeheon, dk why he came back but there might be something between him and jobu even if we can't be sure for the moment but lots of people think that they are one of the couple we see in the preview of the season

we almost never see kazu, ryuki or hiroya (even when he is supposedto be in the house)😔 and if you decide to continue to watch beware there is a lot like really A LOT of william and izaya (think that I skipped almost 20min because of them in the most recent ep, the 9 I think)

the last participants seems to be very shy and awkward mostly because he arrived last and there was already some sort of balance in the house between the participants so we don't know if there will be something with him and another participant or not

but most of the people (including me) watching think that there will only be three couple at the end

ooooh i need to go rewatch the preview, I was thinking that this couple wasn't gonna happen because of their date and what taeheon said about jobu

hiroya huwei is not happening😔 we got huwei bomi instead, there's also two new participants (3 if you count ryuki can't remember when he arrived) but there's not much with them for the moment, also hiroya left for some time but he said he would come back

also still don't understand what's the point of adding people during the show I don't feel like it's very fair to them

happy for William and izaya however I would be happier if we saw them less🫩 feel like it became their show and the others are just secondary character... we never see ryuki, kazu or hiroya😔 I understand that they want a bit of drama or whatever but there's not even drama anymore, we know they're gonna end up together, it's time to show the others
not a big fan of the two couples but I still prefer huwei and bomi because there's no awkward vibe around them when they are in the house unlike william and izaya who I also find really selfish like why would they need that date that much and also need to make like public announcement or whatever that was, I skip all of their scenes now
was mostly watching for hiroya and he is not even there for the moment 😭 rooting for ryuki and kazu they deserve better

oh who do you think will be the third couple? I've got a terrible intuition😅, I was thinking maybe tomoaki and ryuki or taeheon, I don't think that there will be jobu taeheon (🤔 not sure about this) but at first I was rooting for hiroya huwei and it didn't happen so i'm not gonna follow my guts or maybe tomoaki hiroya

omg thank you, I've only seen people saying it's one of the best series of 2025, I was starting to think that maybe I missed something and therefore misunderstood the story and the way the characters acted.

Agree with you for the chicken breast problem, budgeting is a normal thing, i understand that he has to respect a strict diet but I thought that it was really selfish not to accept any compromise. I found him a bit immature even if he was ( if i remember correctly) the oldest, to keep going over the budget even if the others told him multiple times that it was a problem and that they would have less money for them to eat.
And the fact that he was like " but it's important cause it's for my job" to justify the fact that he absolutely doesn't think about the others was really shameless, like you don't have the choice to not respect the budget, even if it's for your job of whatever you need to think for the group first. I can't understand how he was not embarrassed and just trying to justify the fact that he never listened to the others'complaints. When Dai called him out when they were all together, I was embarrassed for him.

Effectively, he has a strong sense of control, I think he should really work on his mental health before starting anything and/or talk a lot more with Dai to explain his point of view on their relationship so it could evolve until it can become a healthy relationship if they want it to be if they want to have one. And for now their relationship has to change a lot because there is obviously someone whose going to be hurt in the end.

And I strongly agree with you for the point on people who still want Dai to keep chasing Shun, at this point of the show it's weird to think that, because Shun is really playing with Dai's feelings but they are the same people that think that Shun has done nothing bad and that he has every right to act like that so it just seem that they just don't want to face reality.

Omg yes, Dai is always the one presented as the bad guy even if he did nothing wrong, i'm starting to think that the Shun's "defenders" are blind (maybe cause of his looks or past idk), some can't think for a single moment that Shun could sometimes be a bad person (whether he wants it and realizes it or not).

And I am in no way judging his past, I just think that it could be one of the major reasons why people excuse and support all of his actions while hating on Dai.

I just can't understand why are people hating on Dai cause he went for another man (WOW OFC IT'S A DATING SHOW), we cant' even be really sure cause the other just arrived . Like he wanted to go on dates, do whatever with Shun but Shun decided that they were better as friends and that they should start their relationship all over again which I completly understand because he has every right to think that their personnalities can't match. At this point there shouldn't be any problem. On another hand I am really confused by Shun's behavior he says that he wants them to be friends but at the same time Dai should understand that he has to continue (?) chasing him and just being less clingy. What was said is that Dai had no chance and that's what he understood. It's like he's saying "I don't want to be in a relationship with you so I'm telling you but you still have to continue to be interested in me and only me". Shun chose to put a limit he doesn't have the right to go beyond it to mess with Dai feelings without explaining his change of mind or whatever. They really need to COMMUNICATE more.

Why couldn't Dai go with other men? I saw comments like " He didn't wait any minute to go with someone else" I mean what were you thinking, he should have stay alone until the end of the show because his first choice which was his only until they talk, told him that he wasn't confident about them being a couple. WHY are people acting like they were practically engaged ?

Also I'm really disguted by all the hate Dai has gotten since the beginning of the show, are some people just really young? I thought in the 21st century people could have relationships with other people when they were single. I can't understand all the slutshaming and the judgements like "he will surrely cheat on Shun". Do you know him personally ? Like any other adult he doesn't have the right to have or not sexual relationships with other adults ?
From the beginning until then, there wasn't any moment where Dai wasn't a greenflag with everybody, Shun included. He has flaws? OF COURSE NOBODY'S PERFECT!! But that doesn't give you the right to say and spread the ridiculous ideas you made about him.
