What a deception!

When the trailer was revealed, I was really, really happy because I loved ThomasKong in DMD Friendship. I watched the pilot like 30 times and was very impatient to see the series. Then they posted the final trailer, and I started to feel unsure about whether I would actually like the show because they had changed some scenes I really liked in the first pilot. But whatever, I thought, the trailer is not the series.

Then (maybe my expectations were too high), I watched the first episode, and I was like, "Yeah, it looks like it might be good." I already had a feeling I was going to end up disappointed, but I really wanted to give it a try because I love the actors. And who doesn't enjoy a cute and fluffy series from time to time?

First: Fah and Teerak's relationship.
It was really badly written. Fah had only one expression, he wasn't very interesting, but I could overlook that. What I couldn't ignore throughout the whole series was Teerak’s personality. WHY IS HE ACTING LIKE A LITERAL CHILD? I understand that they wanted him to be cute and innocent, but it was done in a really weird way, and there was never a moment where he acted like a normal 18- or 19-year-old. It really put me off, and I couldn't watch any of their intimate scenes, I was really uncomfortable.

After about five episodes, I had a hard time continuing. It was just too much, and even though I really like ThomasKong, nothing could have saved it.

Then, Real and Hia. I really enjoyed their dynamic, but why, WHY?? did they give them so little screentime? (Same goes for Glai and Lee.) There were so many Fah and Teerak scenes that could have been cut to show more of them. I'm sorry, but there were a lot of useless or weirdly executed moments, they lost themselves in the script way too many times.

I absolutely loved Lee and Glai; they were really cute, BUT WHAT HAPPENS TO THEM? I WANT THE REST OF THE STORY!!! Why would they end the series like that? After like 8 episodes I totally lost my interest for the main couple, I was really just watching for them and RealHia, but even in the last episode, they still chose to include pointless scenes with Teerak acting like a kid and Fah smiling like an idiot because he thinks Teerak is cute (which, by the way, is literally Fah’s only personality trait).
I would've preferred a real conclusion for each couple rather than an NC scene with a suddenly not-so-innocent Teerak. Like, WTF? He was acting like a 6-year-old ten minutes earlier (make it make sense!)

In conclusion, I think that there were a lot of problems in the script and the directing, there is not a single actor who could have saved this ( as the episodes progressed, the acting became worse and worse. I think they did what they could, but for example, the scene of Hia asking for help to sort things out with his argument with Real WHAT WAS THAT??). I don't think that I will ever rewatch it and if i do it will not be for Fah and Teerak.

I hope that Thomas and Kong will have a new series as main and that it will have a good writting and plot. Also, Teetee and Port won dmd friendship so they should have a series as a main couple, hope it will be good and I really want a new series with Auau and Save!
