It wasn’t a bad drama, but it could’ve been better. The beginning was so slow that I almost dropped it, then it suddenly became interesting and I loved all the angst, but the last few episodes were boring again. My main issue was that I just couldn’t connect with the main couple. I tried so hard to like them together, but something felt off, maybe it was the chemistry or the emotional connection. Surprisingly, I actually really loved Situ Ling from the beginning to the end (and I usually DESPISE obsessive second male leads). I felt sorry for him and even loved his scenes, which really shows how disconnected I was from Mingyi and Ji Bozai, both as characters and as a couple.
I wasn’t interested at first, but after finding out it’s a forbidden love between the leads, I’m very interested now. I don’t know how the drama will turn out, but I’m giving it a try just because of this trope 😍
So, he’s psycho, he’s toxic, but… he is the storyline... Then he goes pure and heroic—and somehow I’m…
Oh no, that’s the only thing I didn’t like in TTEOTM ,I mean the last arc where he all of a sudden became a good person 🫤 I hope they don’t whitewash his character here too. He doesn’t have to be psychopathic, being morally gray is enough....
Another drama airing this month... Are they crazy??? 🤣 I know some of them probably won’t be that good and I’ll drop them, but what if all of them are good? 🤣
I still don’t like the princess but I don’t hate her like before. I thought she would stay a lovesick fool until the end and oppose her brother because of XJS, but she actually started to despise him and plot against him. That’s a surprise to me, because these types of dumb characters usually just get worse and stupider later on.
I don’t know if they’ll be together for real, but I’m pretty sure they’ll have a toxic and messy relationship based on what I’ve seen. XJS will probably be the main villain...

Help, these two are crazy crazy! 🤣🤣🤣
