The chemistry and tension between them is amazing, and the ML is freaking hot 🔥 I prefer slow-burn romance, but here, I’m not complaining that they’ll get together quickly because I don’t think I could wait any longer with this kind of chemistry. Not to mention, secret relationships and forbidden love are my favorites. I’m obsessed!
I miss them together so much 😭 I miss how they were back in Ganlin. They went through so much together, but they were always united and worked together. Now they’re so distant, and all they ever talk about is politics. I really hope this won’t last for long 😭
Well I just hope they cut the unnecessary scenes that add nothing to the story because they’ve cut so much and I’m worried it’s going to affect the drama. I’m praying they didn’t cut the kissing scenes, but I have a feeling they did exactly that...😭

Lol Yake always acts so pitiful and like a victim, and it pisses me off. If you think about it, she wasn't poor. Sure, she wasn't rich or had a high status like Tingyun, but she was still far from being poor, and her status wasn't that low either. From what I could see, her father was also a respected scholar and treated her well, so it's not like she had a bad life. It's totally okay to want a better life and a good marriage, especially since marriage was really important for women at that time, but her life wasn't nearly as miserable as she's making it out to be. She wasn't like that poor maid who was threatened with her family's lives, she definitely had a choice.

It's a long drama, but I'm not sure if they meant it's fast-paced like short dramas, or if they meant that the drama is melodramatic and has many misunderstandings, a love-hate relationship, and all those things you see in short dramas.
I would love it if it's the second one. I don't mind if it's fast-paced, but I hope it's not so fast-paced that you can't connect with the storyline and characters.
I actually don't mind her rejecting him and being cold toward him. If she falls in love too easily and they get together early, I'll probably lose interest. I love their push-and-pull dynamic, and I'm excited to see how he'll melt her cold heart. I can already see that he's slowly making progress, but she hasn't realized it yet.
