The drama I've been waiting for since 2019 is finally, FINALLY here! It still feels unreal. As a huge fan of Xiao Zhan, this is a dream come true. Ep 1 was way funnier than I expected; I laughed out loud a few times. Dr. Gu is hilarious and XZ's comedic timing is on point. I've been dying to see him in a role like this and he just has my entire heart. The extras at the end are icing on the cake. I hope they have one for every ep. This is going to be my comfort food after a day of work. Onward to day 2!
I started this drama without much expectation but I'm really enjoying it! Japan does a really good job of turning seemingly silly plots into dramas with heart and characters you can root for. It's a light-hearted, feel good drama and nice to see Watanabe Keisuke in a lead role.
I haven't seen the Korean or Chinese version, but am really enjoying this one. Jdrama remakes always bring their own distinct Japanese flavor. Everything feels down to earth and sincere. Ep 7 was really great at building the tension, can't wait to see what happens next! I'm rooting for Ai and Sosuke but Higuchi is really making me experience second lead syndrome which is rare for me! Really taking notice of Akaso Eiji after this role, he's versatile and has a lot of potential. My first time watching Koshiba Fuka and she's so likable, gonna be looking out for her upcoming projects.
