Cause' she's a powerless mortal who knows literally nothing but just a few theories and terms about seeking immortality. Whereas the others include demons, and eternals. She's not even physically well trained with the swords and bows and stuff. So it's obvious she would seem to be the most weak one out there. But gradually she undergoes the much needed character development. Basically, I would say, Bai Shuo is a weak but strategically very strong mortal, ever since the first episode.

They were behaving like a proper married couple during this arc 🙂‍↕️✊🏻

Well well they should've included a few frames from the part where he wrapped his arms around her during the last kiss scene. I'm sour that I had to zoom in my screen just to notice that scene which lasted for less than a few mini seconds

Everytime I see Lulu and ARP sitting together, they're laughing like crack heads lol. I understand literally NOTHING without the English subtitles but still watching them laugh makes me laugh too. This is probably the first time I'm seeing actors laugh freely and effortlessly around each other without any filters. Also, never in my life did any of my favourite CP give me as much offscreen content as they have. They literally had a bunch of photos from every outfit/episode lol!

Came across an Instagram post and I got to know that ARP and Bailu had a chance meeting while shooting for Pull Strings and Tan Gong Qi An....???!!!!! 😭 I made a crossover edit (wanted to share the link here but MDL won't let me) a few days ago of Li Pei Yi and Yan Chi (ARP's ckt from Coroner's Diary) thinking that these two characters might suit each other in a parallel universe. BUT LPY and Li Changshou also look great. Make them wear those fantasy Hanfus or Tang Dynasty outfits or just get them wear casuals, they look GREAT together in EVERY FRAME. So, at this point they should just give us the news of ARP and Bailu's next drama together ✋🏻

Fr! Not to forget the hypocrisy in the comments where people are disliking Bailu's performance because it feels the same as compared to her other works and at the same time they can't digest Fan Yue's character which is NOT the usual grumpy 24*7 hrs demon king 😭. It's so SOOOO important to watch a drama well or at least people should take the pains and responsibility of adding a note that they did not catch up with some scenes. It's a disappointment to see a good drama rated so low and the misleading reviews

Well we are at peace. We are not trying to change your opinions. We don't even know what perspective you had while watching. A little explanation of the story, throwing light on the actual theory is for your own good so that you don't fall a prey to people who won't be at peace in future only because you couldn't catch the gist of the character/story.

Every day I come here, I spot a new review with people complaining about the drama. So, i want to leave this message for people to read before they write their reviews. Most of the people who are disliking this drama is because it's not of their taste. It doesn't have a grey male lead or a toxic relationship between the couples. I don't think, it's the drama's fault here. It suits it's storyline and genre very well. You can't complain/ hate it because it's not of your taste. Secondly, I think people really really need to stick their eyes to the subtitles. I know it can be difficult to focus on the subtitles while we have suh gorgeous faces on the screens. BUT most of the hate/disappointment comments are from people who haven't really watched the drama well. This is what happens when you skip important scenes and run behind the CP scenes or scenes which look eye catchy. So, new watchers and the old ones who missed the important scenes — watch with your eyes on the subtitles. And then you'll be able to connect with the story and understand the characters better.

he was the reason why Bai Shuo could demolish the Hidden Lord's heart completely. Moreover, she reestablished the moon pact with him to wield HIS powers. How come he became useless? And about the 'shine' -- well, he was still sick. He lost a lot of his powers while creating the protection barrier.

I genuinely wouldn't mind if they're doing a modern or a costume drama again unless and until they're cast together again lmao 😭. I wonder if the ship is popular enough in China to get repeated

Why do they not dub with their own voices tho? Also, I never really caught any differences b/w his voice and the dubbed one in MM. I just felt that ARP, himself doesn't talk in that manner naturally

Same here! I love the red and black outfit the most and my second favourite would be the one which he wore as Jing Yuan (the one in which Fan Shuo reconciled)

Since you've only finished upto 15, I assure you every contemplation has one of the major character in highlight. You'll get to see more of Fan Yue's side of story eventually

I never felt the show to be inclined towards any of the characters. They balanced it quite well. Initially Fan Yue was highlighted with his powers and then eventually they were on equal positions and then again Xing Yue's strength was highlighted (which diluted Fan Yue's highlighting) and finally they were again back to equal stance.

Primarily because Fan Yue isn't born with some demonic aura or bone to be as cruel and gruesome as the previous characters with the Demon King title. He was a normal person until he decided to seek revenge and become the Demon King. He's compassionate and caring unlike the other 'demon king' characters who've got a frown on their faces 24*7 hrs

I loved only the chemistry in TLI. The ML gave me a major headache throughout the first half of the story
