1. Do I need to say that I love the actor ARP is? I love him and I can't wait to get to the scene where he finally narrates his sad story. Preparing tissues for it already. 2. I absolutely love Yiwansan and Pingting's bond. She's possessed but still, I love how he is so protective towards her. Her tears connected with him so well, he doesn't want her to end up behind those closed doors seeking help. When he went out to find another 'weapon' I almost thought he might escape but he didn't. I love how this guy is so sympathetic 🥺 3. LHC can improve her micro expressions. But she's promising as Mu Dai. I can relate to Mu Dai being a girl who doesn't do a lot of pick me kinda expressions to act cute. 4. SWL is as charming as usual. He's just so handsome + I love the romance. Damn sure, this guy too is traumatized by some touch and stuff. I'll be waiting to know more about it! 5. The SFL ~ it's just 5 minutes that I've watched her and I find her acting very....stiff?! Or maybe I'm just rushing with my judgement. I really hope she's likeable and the acting improves.
Simple to the point explanation would be:: there are 7 mysterious cases in the story which are solved by the squad.
Like I said if we think if it simply, it makes that sense. The actual book is based on::
(This is the desc of the book btw and this is where it gets its name from)
In ancient times, there were seven malevolent thoughts. Anyone who came into contact with them would have their character drastically altered, committing unforgivable crimes. When Laozi went westward through the Hangu Pass, he trapped the seven malevolent thoughts in seven wooden slips, sealed with a phoenix and a luan bird, thus bringing peace to the world. But who could have anticipated that the cursed slips would once again bring disaster to the world…
God this FL is pathetic, doesn't kiss on screen but she wishes to compete with bai lu !! This is gonna be a flop…
Neither BPIL nor FEUD (learn some spellings btw), have got to do anything with this drama. If you don't like the FL, drop this drama. No body here is forcing you to watch it. Also, none of the actors are competing with each other. Heck they don't even know when their drama would air and alongside which ones. Next time, use a little brain or even better, digital fights bring no fun so keep your hate to yourself.
My main reason to watch this drama is ARP. I also like SWL so it's a win win situation for me. Secondly, I genuinely feel Liu Haocun looks really promising in this compared to BPIL (honestly I don't even consider it as a worthy parameter cuz it's just a romcom while this one seems to offer the actors far more opportunity as actors)
If people are allowed to gush about romance and heavens knows they do then others are allowed to be unhappy about…
I'm being aggressive because you're trying to put words in my text which I haven't talked about. Don't you see how I've clearly started my post with "I DON'T KNOW WHY"???!!!! I NEVER once said people need to accept them. In fact, my whole post is about why I feel the romance isn't so unwanted. Maybe, maybe someone out there needs to read it and they'll feel a little bit okay and find the romance a little more bearable than they do it now.
BTW, I'm not being aggressive. I genuinely have no mood for debates over petty stuff like a drama or a fictional couple. In case you felt like it, then nope. My "have a good day" msg isn't out of sarcasm. But yeah, I must admit — I'm offended how you're literally out here just siding my post with the 'you don't want others to hate' thing.
Nope. I don't want others to waste their time on focusing things they don't like. And it's not like, I've been sitting in this discussion area for days and advocating against them. 🤷🏻♀️

Do you know how hypocrite you sound while saying it? Talking about people having the rights to hate on the romance while arguing with me about countering them with my opinions.
Of all the things I need to learn in my life, i certainly don't need to know what a fanpage does and how discussions are made. I never said don't hate the CP. I put up my opinions of not understanding how people are bitter about the pairing + i suggest people to skip the pairings scenes instead of yelling the same complain over and over again.
And yeah, I commented this for the same reason why you decided to reply to my comment, instead of following your own agenda of 'ignoring posts you don't like'. Have a good day!
I am enjoying the drama, and as much as I love seeing new episodes everyday, I’m loving coming here to read…
Honestly, i feel he didn't reject her only because he doesn't wants to be distracted but deep down, he knows it'll eventually drag her into the mess. He cares for her and doesn't want her to be a part of it. Little does he know, she's already a part of it. In fact I felt his Shifu made him feel as if he's getting distracted with some ulterior motives. He sure knows about XAT helping Zang Hai. If he wanted, he could've asked Zang Hai to get involved with her more (if not romantically) to gain profits from their friendship. I guess he knows much more about her and thus doesn't want him to get closer to her
Is this a very serious, "heavy" drama? I wan't to watch it but I don't have the strength for too serious topics.
People get murdered left, right and centre. Apart from that, there isn't any 'serious' topic. It's a political drama but what makes it heavier is the no of deaths and the no of ways all those deaths have occured 💀
BTW, the way the Marquis has been soft on Zang Hai — either he's really giving into him or he's planning something already. I can't believe he actually disclosed the bodies and the fish artifact to him already. Or maybe I'm just overthinking.
The scene where he saved ZH from the fire almost gave father son vibes lmao🤣
those who are asking "why is she blaming him?" in epi 11, i think i know it better (i suppose i do). basically, when she saw them getting married, she didn't know Jinxiu was under the manipulation of the emperor, he didn't turn back and even when he did he didn't speak about it until she was about to be attacked. When the truth of the dew came out, she did see him bleed - she even flinched at the sight of it out of concern but she thought it was because he GAVE THE DEW TO HER TO PROTECT HER. It did NOT explain her why he was marrying Lu Yao. That's why she wasn't really blaming him. She was desperate to know the reason why he rejected her, if you notice, she was polite throughout the scene. Her eyes did NOT have any anger or the sense of 'you betrayed me'. She was pleading to know if she had disappointed him in any way for him not to marry her. She saw him bleed, that's the reason why she decided to give up on her life to remove the dew and give it back to him. That's also why she wished him and Lu Yao happiness. She gave up on herself so that his life could be saved but she still didn't get to know why he was marrying Lu Yao even tho he had promised to marry none apart from her and that led to her thinking that he broke his promise. All of this could've been ignored if Jinxiu had just said one sentence instead of doing the "it's not the time" crap
Question… Are we supposed to feel bad for Lu Yao? Cause I’m not feeling it. 🤣
I felt bad for her only because she went through the public humiliation. She tried asking Jinxiu if he liked Hongning but the conversation was interrupted. She surely has a crush on Jinxiu apart from agreeing to marry him for the political alliance. She didn't deserve to be humiliated publicly on the day of her wedding. BUT I HATE how she attacked Kunlun. He was actually hurt by it. That was so impulsive of her🥴
I'm waiting to know why Kunlun and LuYao too died along with Hongning. I think Kunlun sacrificed his life to save Jinxiu from the thunder bolts. It's a pity that Kunlun and LuYao didn't fell in love in their first life. The slow burn is nice tho but i wanted more skskskssk. Also, I'm pleasantly surprised that Kunlun actually is smart apart from being mischievous. I thought he would be some one lame and childish. The upcoming episodes seem to have a lot of good vfxs along with the angst. Can't wait!
Can someone tell me what a eternal means just started ty?
there are basically 3 kind of beings in the world - eternals, demons and humans. Eternals are basically divine and pure unlike Demons who are considered as more lunatic and reckless
I noticed that he was dressed as a demon in the opening song, I wonder what happens since he started out sweet…
I guess he's always been a threat to their realm. Else, Jinxiu wouldn't banish him like that. He does notice people below the surface. Even Kunlun asked Hongning to have faith in his brother and he was serious about it.
