I did read your complete message. And I'm not talking about the baseless hate people love throwing towards the dramas because they are against the actors in it. My point is that it's ok if people make a perception about a character based on the recent most episode they've seen and then they change their mindset over it. Most of the rants I read here are about people's disappointment with Hanyan's 'ignorant' attitude. And it is true. She was getting on the nerves for those who haven't watched epi 24 yet.

If they had never given that divorce scene, it would've never resulted into the present ideology of the characters.

"Don't judge a book by it's cover" is applicable to those who don't pick the book and pass the judgement. Not to those who keep sharing in line comments while skimming through the chapters. It's only natural for the viewers to go through a rollercoaster of thoughts and theories while watching an on going drama. We never know what's coming on our way. So obviously people are going to love/criticize based on what they've seen and they've deciphered.

Not everyone is patient enough to have that "i'm gonna wait for them to provide a whitewashing or a reason and then comment". Some people prefer to watch and rant about it.

And since your comment was targeted towards people who were disappointed with Hanyan's character, it's only fair that everyone who felt that feels targeted regardless of your intentions to pick the selective haters.

Title The Glory Spoiler
The Lingzhi and Hanyan scene has to be the best scene I've watched today. Baby A'Zhi is so cute and I feel sad for her. The way they played the flashbacks --- exactly what I was thinking about! Hanyan has gone through so much to find her 'mom'. Even after years of abandonment (no matter the reason), she was so desperate for the motherly love that she decided to brush it off under the rug. Finally, she understands how Lingzhi too wishes for nothing more than a loving family.

Hanyan this is the last time i'm allowing you to flip your ways from "i'm gonna win" to "i'm gonna kill". Don't go that path again. Please behave in the last 6 episodes (at least stop going on a killing spree every time you face a downfall. i don't want to end up recommending you a therapist) so that this drama ends on a bittersweet note for me🥹🖐🏼

This is an ongoing drama. The audience has the rights to flip according to the next successive episodes. NONE of us knew what she has planned. How do you expect us to react to it? We, here are not giving an overall review of the characters yet. We are giving episodic reviews. I stand by my yesterday's review even if it contradicts my today's. And I think it's only way how an immersed viewer reacts to episodes. People love analyzing every episode they watch. It's not a movie where we need to sit straight until it ends.
This follows for every other drama --- it gets love, criticism as per it episodes and finally what counts is the overall review.

So you need not go all hyper about "oh see i won and these people did not".

I do agree that to some extent epi 24 makes Hanyan seem less cruel. But it's only because now that I've seen the episode. If not, I would've never known about this move to make her still likeable.

I saw many people on reddit and instagram criticizing the intro a lot for spoiling the story. Even I loved the intro (esp cause' I love minor spoilers and they motivate me to keep continuing) + the OST is just so otherworldly (?!)

Lmfao I've no idea how you felt that they have pride/ego. Like seriously how?! He's just trying to protect her. He knows she'll act recklessly without having concerns for her life. That's the reason why he doesn't want her to get into the mess again. Anyways this is prolly the only drama where the leads never encounter undesired misunderstandings or separations. They do trust each other, respect, support and love each other. One of the healthiest xianxia couple.

You'll definitely see more of the second cpl's romance but their story follows the slow burn trope so it'll take a few more episodes for them to act all in love.

This FL character has grown so arrogant that it has made her stupid. She is so consumed with hatred that heck…
Right?! I disliked that scene so much. She has a strong hand in verbal manipulation. She always resorted to it and got her things done right without putting all her cards on stake. But nope! She decided to threaten that lady. Girl, what if she had actually called out for help? Would that little hairpin help you with tens of armed men? She already knows if she gets caught she'll end up with nothing. Fu Yunxi's act made her more vengeful but she didn't quite get it how it also mirrors the consequences after she gets caught with her reckless behaviour even before getting her revenge. I don't quite get it how she still has the brain and sanity to get through her in laws' drama but she won't use it to understand the gravity of the situation

I was too looking forward to this drama cause of Dudu but I honestly had no idea what's it about. I usually don't check out trailers. So, initially this came across as a good story. The way the episodes ended with a mystery was cool and it kept me hook. I knew both Hanyan and Yunxi would be more like flawed/red flag characters but I wasn't expecting her to act almost like a psychopath😭. It's kind of justified given the trauma she went through but it's still way too much for my liking

the buildup was getting juicy when he was being attracted to her and she realized she liked him. but within a single death, everything changed midnight lmao. the way she was sad and hurt when she got to know that their marriage was just a 'deal', i never expected her to be still so blood thirsty for him. And why is she even acting so ruthlessly towards him? Like girl can you still not understand that he saved you from committing a crime? She knows how to scheme, get her things done either by cruel actions or by sweet words but she still cannot digest this thing🤦🏼‍♀️

Because of all the mistrust and scheming between the two leads, how on earth did they expect us to believe there…
Honestly the way their dynamics are I wouldn't feel bad if he dies in the end. I'll only feel sad for Lingzhi. She'll lose her father whom she cherishes a lot. The 'couple' has already come too far to start acting 'romantically' or even 'empathetically' towards each other. The maximum they can ever have **naturally** (and if the writer didn't get in romance for the last few epis out of nowhere) is sympathy for e/o.

Title The Glory
the slow burn between the cpl just got their whole story burned. literally 0 progression and it's no more 'interesting'. initially one could easily overlook the couple with all the family drama going on but since Xiwen's death, the episodes have become so boring. I am not only disappointed with the romance's pace but also the fact that Hanyan was always so ignorant towards the child. Lingzhi deserves better imo. I don't get it why Yunxi isn't talking about the child and his death curse already. Even if he's dying, man let that woman know it first else she's never going to look after your daughter the way you expect her to. At least not after the way she's like "let everyone die, who cares?" attitude.

Lingzhi is such a cutie. Even in a tender age she was ready to accept Hanyan's refusal. I feel their story was so rushed. Hanyan always USED Lingzhi to get stuff done by Yunxi. And suddenly the 'lost mother' thing got her convinced which is very unreal for a woman like Hanyan.

ATP I don't think Hanyan is any badass FL. I think she's gone more the psychopathic way. Like Fu Yunxi said, she doesn't bother about the other's life. If this is what called a definition of 'badass woman', i'm fine with my doormat FLs. There's a limit to how 'flawed' one can be and still be likable. I feel Hanyan has started to cross that level. She's acting way too ruthlessly.

I see no progress in Fu Yunxi's character or story. Maybe it's because this is a female centric drama. So, I can't complaint much about it.

What did they do to a handsome af man like Ao Ruipeng to look that awful?! His hairstylist had some grudge against him ig. Or maybe he just became more handsome in a span of 4-5 years. The voice dubbing was looking so off for ARP. But the story and the scenes were very very cute. The actors have a good chemistry.

True true! The whole reincarnation plot required a few more episodes. It just felt like an overall summary of their situation. Tho I know since they're all deities there must be a huge time gap between their first meets and the life they showed us

Chang Huasen and Dailuwa were the second lead pairing of Moonlight Mystique. They didn't have a good ending there and here they aren't paired together even tho they're both a part of the cast. So I was referring to the pun of their pairing having bad luck!😂😭

That is sure that he wanted the bow. Even Jing Yuan wanted it initially. But, he also said "Xing Yue you haven't changed in a hundred years. You're still so beautiful" while fighting with her.
