A cute romcom with a lot of humor

This is the first time I'm watching a costume drama being light hearted. I had no expectations from this but it was a good watch.

This story is not meant for those who love caring and sympathetic FLs. Here the FL has got so many shades — she's brutal, savage but also a clown in her own way, which is GOOD. BUT sometimes I felt the urge to put my hand in the screen and smack her :")).

I believe in redemption tracks but here the redemption isn't slow and visible to the eyes. You just come across this one scene where she's kidnapped (and almost physically assaulted) and then she wakes up after days (of recovering from the trauma) all changed. I kind of didn't like it. I love when the redemption comes slowly. Although here the redemption isn't really a whole 'redemption' but more like her realising the worth of her brain apart from her beauty. And someone who's behind a matrilocal husband for years — the redemption seems very fastened.

Also I hate how both the Prince and the antagonist gave me unsettling vibes. Maybe it's because of the acting but whatever — hate em'.

The second couple's story is as much interesting as the main cpl's so they didn't bore me with their screenspace. I love the scenes of both the couples. They're filled with banter, humor and subtle romance. The politics isn't too hard or complex on the mind (being brutally honest, by the end you wouldn't even care to watch that).

Overall, a good watch for those who want a break from watching ctraumas and ktraumas with something that doesn't focus a lot on politics.
