Oh and the main lead has no chemistry at all...... at the beginning. But believe me, it builds. It builds as the…
I agree with you on that... there's a certain connection between YooJin and JeHa.. like there's a friction between them... it would be interesting if there's noona romance between them.
Okay, I read the synopsis above and someone needs to change it. I finished the drama and that synopsis doesn't d it justice... it doesn't even make that much sense.
Okay... I don't know how to start. First, like most of the fans, I LOVE THE BROMANCE in this series... more than NamSook and Heung Soo ... I like how friendship were made in the later part of this series. I also like how they tackle about real struggles of students. This drama made me cry a few times because I can relate to the issues presented. The casts acting was nothing spectacular but it was on point.
Lastly, contrary to most negative comments, this drama is NOT BORING.
IT'S SO DAMN FRUSTRATING. I meant it in both good and bad ways. Like it's good frustrating that you can relate to the characters but s damn bad frustrating in a sense that it prolongs certain scenes. There are times when I would fast forward some scenes and just get to the part where everything was resolve. Characters in this drama seriously need to speak up their mind. They are so frustrating to watch.
But anyways, if you can get past that issue, you're good to go and watch this drama.
It will make you smile and cry. Good way.
Except that ending.. fudge that ending... don't leave me hanging like that... give me a close ending.. damn it!

I feel you... I was so close in dropping it because of the lack of chemistry... but I'm thankful that I didn't.
Hope you'll feel the same... I'm kinda nervous in case you don't.
I am close to dropping this drama. i have watched 8 episodes so far and its beginning to feel like a drag. Chinese drama tends to be longer and slow faced than Kdrama but gawd.... this one is too much.
Does it get any better?
Someone please change my mind regarding this drama and convince me to give it a second chance....

They were a cute couple <3
Nothing special seriously. Some moments were a drag, I had to fast forward for those.
The hint of noona romance was interesting though I was in favor for the two leads to end up with each other.
CHoi Yoo JIn was seriously an interesting character. She stole the spotlight f the show. At some point, it even feels like Anna was a side character.
Nevertheless, hands up to Yoona. She did a great job in acting her role. Anna is an annoying character at times but still Yoona manage to act her. This might the best Yonna's best drama as an actress.
Cite a few please... I'm not judging... I seriously want to know. I'm looking for great kdramas to watch and I'm running out of them. I don't want to watch another ongoing drama.
The kdrama has one of the best character development... plus it has one of the corniest and giddiest ending in kdrama world.... oh that's a compliment ^_^

I have mixed feelings towards this show.
I think it is still one of the best live action out there but I can't bring myself to love it.
I have no problem with it overall.
The characterization is good. The actors does not only really fits the anime/manga characters but they are all good in acting too!
The music was on point. Unlike some production where the viewers hardly pay attention to the music, the show's music manages to make the viewers notice and appreciate it's value to every scene.
As for the story, it was good. I was open-minded to the plot's changes. I didn't mind the inconsistency it has with the original manga/anime story. I was even willing to let go the difference I noticed in the matches.
What makes me stop from loving this adaptation was how they portray Chihaya in the first part. The Chihaya I know and love would not do something like that. She would never be that selfish and narrow-minded. The Chihaya I know is greedy at fault. She want everything (win the team competition, make Taichi an A-class, recruit new members, win each class individual matches, and more). I cannot bring myself to accept what happen at the first part that I was watching with poker watch the whole time (excet for the part of Tachi and Chihaya's EPIC high five.. I mean that seriously was a game changer!)
Anyway, it was worth the watch.
Since the beginning I have been shipping Chihaya-Tachi and Arata-Shinobu and with the chemistry I felt with the actors, I felt my ship getting stronger.. XD
