I'm here because of Kim So Hyun. I stayed for Jang Dong Yoon.
The character development was wow. Don't even get me started on woman power! <3 The chemistry is great. The leads little moments will creep into your heart and will make you love them more. Didn't expect the somehow plot twist in the end. Anyone else reminded of Harry Potter? This left me with a smile on my face and I think it's enough for me to recommend it.

That wedding could have been better. After all the difficulties with their parents, I would have expect them to be in the wedding! It could have been simple without the theatrics and I would been happy. I'll be crying tears of joy with them and not spending the whole time covering my eyes, cringing on everything that's happening.

I love this version. THIS IS THE ONLY VERSION WHERE I DIDN'T HAVE A SECOND LEAD SYNDROME and has support AhSi all the way (except for that ep 40, but you can't blame me for that. Lei was absolute perfection on that ep)... where was I? Yep... this version I love.... but the last three eps? WTH happened?
I wanna watch this... but I can't get over the fact that the lead guy is almost on his 50's and can be considered as a father to the lead girl.... someone take this prejudice of mine and tell me how I'm gonna regret it if I don't watch it.
I love everything about this drama. If there's one thing I wanna complain, it's something I'll put as a reply in this comment with a tag as spoiler since it's a big spoiler.
Get through the first part.. hell, fast forward some self-pity moments, and when you do, it will be a roller coaster of a ride at the second half. What happened on the last episode of this drama will always have a place in my heart.
And let's not forget the kid's acting. Pil Gu was seriously adorable, I couldn't drop the show because of him.
The thing I like most about this drama is the leads aren't stupid. There are no face-palm moments and you wouldn't suffer on watching them fall into traps or being manipulated because of their weaknesses/emotions.
The lead guy, Ma Hoon, was seriously a breathe of fresh air. He knows what's up and is seriously doing something about it.
GaeTong? She didn't appeal to me at first, but I began to admire her as time goes by. People rant about how the love triangle here is not strong enough and the love story was predictable. But yeah... it is. Because we have a female lead who fucking knows what she wants and who she loves. No wishy washy I can't make up my mind between these two hot guys.
The King, Soo, was a dear. I love him at first sight. I like him less when he became a king but that is just because, Ma Hoon, manage to save me from the second lead syndrome.
The second love team, Joon and Ji Hwa, crept their way into my heart that by the end of the series, I'm shipping them more than the main love team.
YoongSo was the only one who is a head ache on this series. And I dont even mean that in a bad way. This guy is adorable stupid for his choices but he had his reason so you'll have to forgive him for that.
Anyway, the plot wasn't strong but the characters individually will make their mark. It was an enjoyable watch.
