have you seen the cdrama Fake it till you make it? it's very serious, lots of chemistry, lots of deep convos. the work part is only a backdrop for the character's own development (they don't work at the same company)

hitv has it!

i was hoping he'd get a villain role for once, I'd love to see him as that!

i was guessing that the ending either meant that they were going through it again (but this time for real). or that they're doomed to experience this over and over like their own personal hell

it's also on Viki now

It also sounds normal to me. you could see it as if someone translated a Korean drama and kept "oppa" and "appa". She calls her mom that, so that's that. I call my mom that as well in my language

Happy birthday! 🎂

I assumed the colors changed because he ran after him and he was in a darker spot in the city. and I thought the soda cans were an indication it was him. now I'm confused too. edited later: someone said it's possible the added stuff was just in his imagination so it's someone else he's happy with.

The two cans of soda are the same ones he used on the guy's cheek in the first episode. The person who was reading the diary is the same person who wrote it. The end note said he was too scared, and he changed it with what he actually said once he ran after him. The bell and the Peach (?) can sodas indicate that they're together now

it's available on Viki now as well for the USA

oh I have watched that, and I didn't even think about them, you're right! But I have not watched ai long nhai. I'll try that one! Thank you kind stranger 🙏

Love a good revenge story, especially with good actors! Can't wait!

agreed, Tencent/wetv had it all subbed. it was a good translation I think as well, it all made sense.

Yes and no. The husband divorces her for another woman, which turns out to be exactly what the female lead wanted. Husband kills his new wife "to preserve their love forever" but gets stopped by female lead before he can kill himself. The writer she used as a plot device in her marriage, finds out what she did (lured the woman intentionally into death), and he insists she turn herself in. In the end, we learn about what happened in the past, that everyone was a villain, husband goes to jail and female lead turns herself in with the writer besides her.

Can anyone give me a suggestion for a show or movie with a similar pairing of Jack (red haired guy) and Li an (shorty)? I loved that combo of naive but open-hearted, and playful and direct.

this promotional poster has been up quite a while so I assume they took it as one of the first steps. ztao has bulked up a lot by exercising so his entire appearance looks different. not sure if you follow his Instagram but there you can see how he went from slightly chubby (for Chinese standards) to really broad and muscular.

To be fair, she literally IS more mature if she is 28. She does mellow over the episodes as people also dislike it. But she will continue to give advice an average person would not heed.

Kind of? There are two guys who crush on the female lead, but neither are acting on it. It is not a typical love triangle trope where they make each other jealous etc.

I also agree there. the wife should not have dumped it in water. It was spiteful. and she said it was because he wasn't entitled to have hobbies and should have stopped playing videogames. Selfish from her side. He's also selfish of course. but no reason to dump 400 bucks

Agreed! I was shocked that this was in a cdrama! Loved it!
