Closer to the ending, the village head grabs a sword. Does the costume behind him have a significant meaning that may explain why he was what he was? I was wondering if he was actually a traitor instead but unsure what the symbol meant on the jacket (?)

I'm someone who lives through the 90s so I'm having to swallow some weirdness here. but my main question is the fact I'm not enjoying the FL much at all; I'm only at episode 4. Does her character get better or is it more of the same and is this show just not for me?

I want more from this script writer. Everything was fitting together so nicely and I wasn't bored at any point.

The ending meant she died by suicide. She was saying that if she was loved and loved that she would be blessed again in her next life. They just didn't show the actual fall or jump. In the end she seemed to think it would be easier on everyone if she died. I also think she could have remained a woman as that's what she felt she was.

All, did you notice the cameos in episode 5 (around 14 minutes) of the Jazz for Two cast?!

spoiler for Here We Meet Again: male lead was in university and his parent dropped off his newborn brother with him going like "you take care of him". I forget the reason they gave, but he decided he cannot ruin her future and so he breaks it off as fast as he can. He never stopped caring for her. The little brother was very cute and he and the brother had superb brother-chemistry. I think about that show often

Here We Meet Again with Vin Zhang. ML and FL seem to be perfect for each other until ML seems to vanish after a quick breakup. The synopsis doesn't tell you why (part of the plot, I'll put it under a spoiler) but he had a good reason to break it off. They then have to work together. It was a great story, and of course great chemistry whenever Vin Zhang acts!

i understand this drama is unlikely to air. But I am intrigued by the idea of it. Can anyone point me towards a similar story? Someone we don't expect to not be able to do a basic skill who then gets help "behind the scenes"?

The actors are amazing. i wasn't so convinced by the story, unfortunately. It's one of the better exorcism ones. i suggest finding the actors and following them to see what else they can do in other movies and shows. The kid for sure was absolutely terrific. (I didn't know the actors before.)

No, I also thought the same. She just thinks his mom SOUNDS and LOOKS like her (dead) mom. So she's interested in getting to know his mom, thinking she'll be like hers (who is definitely dead)
