people say the rating of this show weren't good. lots of episodes reached 9%. is that bad? Would you marry me…
9-10% is above average rating on tvN already. 2024-2025 they only got 3 dramas >10%, 4 if including Typhoon. WYMM is on SBS, rating on public broadcasters such as SBS/ MBC have a higher benchmark to be considered good.
tvN used to have good period dramas. so i thought this drama will be very amazing. but look how mess the scripts.…
This drama is suitable for people looking for scenes and characters (those aspects are good), but for those looking for intense plot and developments would be disappointed.
i really like the warmth and sentiment that each scene gives but the connection between the scenes and the story is quite a mess in recent episodes, coherence is lacking. Looks like they are rushing to the end without much quality control. But I still hope the finale will be wrapped up well.
Kinda fizzeled out .. 12 ep would have done this drama wonder. Writer kinda lost the plot tryong to add stuff…
Agreed. Lots of fillers in ep14 and ep15, they added unnecessary challenges and cliches to fill up 16 episodes but lost the main plot. There were some good scenes tho so I will watch the finale anw.
My watching experience and my view If they reduce PHJ screentime a lot, this drama will be pretty much better…
This drama may not be a classic as it seems to be in early episodes, but some scenes and quotes were quite memorable. The train scene is a classic, endings of few episodes are good too.
the romance wasn't romancing in ep 13 :,( i liked miseon's confession, i really did but it feels like the chemistry…
Yeah i get you regarding the romance plot. I really enjoyed how the romance started in the early episodes, but latter development became bland, repetitive and bit forced. Not sure its cuz directing or acting, I couldn't feel Miseon's affection for Taepoong when they interacts; she just seemed embarrassed every time Taepoong confessed his feelings.
Loved the scene where Taepoong drank alone with his deceased dad; Lee Junho's acting was so good. The dynamics between Taepoong and Miseon were more natural when they became official tgt, finally no more repetitive and awkward push and pull romance...
This story is one of the hardest dramas to rate . It feels as if the writer poured all her best into the supporting…
First 4-5 episodes were good indeed, Taepoong's transformation from a spoiled brat to someone who's capable to handle fabric trade was great. But then the development stalled, in Thailand arc he was entirely ignored. Fortunately Episode 11 and 12 were back on track, Taepoong finally looked like a young boss while doing the glove trade and reuniting employees. Agree with you, they should cut down some side plots to make the main character stand out more, and the assembly of employees should happen earlier.
Damn! they never catch a break. I mean since the first episode its all been about one hurdle after another. Even…
Both business and romance plot were going on a never ending circle. I thought at least romance would have good development as they had kissed but no.. things got back to square one with repetitive diagoue, firting and confession x nth time. I couldn't count how many times Taepoong had confessed... but still no progress.
The best part of ep12 was the scene with Nammo x Minho x her mom. .I can feel the strong tense and acting was so good. Started to lose interest in Taepoong x Miseon relationship.. repetitive diagoue and no progress. I like the scene which Taepoong at work more than in love now.
