I came across other drama site and noticed a lot of negative comments about this show, many people even dropped…
I got it's a way of expressing affection, but just feel it was unnecessary to repeatedly emphasize it in one episode (smuggling case ending, the passport photo shoot, Thai nightclub ending). People who couldn't get her looks would feel annoyed. He could have praised her other merits, so the audience would better get her charm.

I've seen some comments saying not feeling comfortable that Taepoong constantly calling Miseon "pretty", hum I kinda agreed as visual wasn't her real charm as a character. I'd prefer he praise her personality not visual.
A lot of LJH haters in KTL like him in typhoon family and a lot of LJH admirers from KTL don't tune in to this…
Many KTL enjoyers are shippers, they just care about the ship 😂not care about his other works. KTL haters not necessarily ljh haters they just don't like the drama.
Tae Pung is acting like one of those asian husbands who do love their wife but never really take a stand for them…
He isn't her husband, he is her boss as well as the boss of Ko. A boss couldn't bias anyone, best he can do is to comfort both without hurting biz agenda. In a way he's also learning how to resolve HR issues as a CEO. Even Miseon understood the situation and asked him don't overprotect her.
Forbes article on Typhoon Family (Full). A very good read. PD said the the energetic scenes (loan shark case?) was directed by another director, no wonder the vibe was different.
The most heartfeel moment in EP7 was Ko MaJin [Sales manager] and his father. The relationships in this drama was so natural and relatable, even supporting roles were well written.
I checked out the top 10 non-english shows on Netflix and it is horrifying what is there. Truly horiffying Typhon…
Genie is Netflix original, promotion level is different. Plus it's romance genre. Typhoon's genre isn't a popular one for Netflix, got Top 10 in weekly chart is good already imo.
