Officially giving up on Sand and Ray for right now. Ray is a colossal idiot and boy needs someone to smack him upside the head hard. I have a feeling Mew's words of not realizing the value of someone close until it's too late may come back to bite Ray in the ass, because I don't think Sand is going to wait around for him forever. I hope he doesn't. I was expecting Sand to face more consequences for his actions, but it seems like maybe he and Nick will be okay. I honestly want more scenes of them together and to see more of their friendship. Mew was actually moderately interesting this episode. I was starting to have some hope that he might be able to capture my interest until the whole Ray thing there at the end. I did find it ironic that Book's chemistry with Drake was significantly better than it was with Force. Not sexually, he still seems to struggle with the physical aspect, but the flirting and dialogue was pretty good. Top was beyond boring. The whipped puppy look does not suit him. Boston getting what was coming for him was delicious. Kudos as usual to Neo for his superior acting. I'm kind of curious where things are going to go with him because I think what happened may have shaken him up. If anyone is to have a redemption arc, I'd rather it be him. I think it would be the most satisfying. Poor Nick. I pity him, but also he brought this all onto himself and I can't blame Boston for his reaction. Even if he didn't love Nick, he did trust him to some degree and Nick betrayed that. My heart did go out to him though realizing that Sand had betrayed him. Their moment together was really well done. Mark's doing such a fantastic job with this role Next week's episode has me very intrigued. I think things are going to start coming to a head between Sand and Ray. Ray's going to have to figure out that, sure, he can "love" more than one person, but that doesn't mean the other person is going to be okay playing second fiddle all the time. I really hope Sand doesn't take the fall for Ray with the drugs. Also looks like Nick might have someone to move on with, hopefully someone better than Boston. And not sure what to think of what's going on with Top and Mew. I think Mew might regret getting into things with Ray, but we'll see.
He basically did the same things Boston did but I still love him somehow 🙈
Oh, I’m not justifying his behaviour, that’s just my take on his mindset. If he had concerns he should just sit down with Nick and talk it out. But that would be far less interesting and dramatic.
He basically did the same things Boston did but I still love him somehow 🙈
I get the impression that he’s concerned about where Nick is headed with Boston. He knows Boston is no good. Yes, he betrayed Nick and I do think it was deliberate, but not maliciously. He wants Nick and Boston to break up because Nick could do better and he doesn’t want to see him hurt. Just my take on it.
No, because when Ray calld him a "whore", he wasn't hurting him, he was hurting himself. He's projecting, and…
I think it could go both ways. He definitely wanted to hurt Sand, he was deliberately lashing out. But I do agree it could have also been a manifestation of his own self-hatred. Being wealthy, I'm sure he's had plenty of people want to be with him or befriend him just for his money. He has so much self-loathing it's hard for him to understand why someone would care about his actual well-being and not just be in it for the money.
What a ride! This was probably one of my favorite episodes thus far, also how are we already halfway through?! Force and Book were still the weakest links this episode, but the events going on made it more bearable. That ending though! Book is cute, I will give him that, but I can only imagine how much better that scene would have been with a more effective actor. Same with Force. It sort of worked just because of the reveal and the emotions involved and Book did sell it with parts of it, but it could have been better. I have my fingers crossed that things may improve now that we're out of the lovey dovey phase with these two and I think Mew is entering his villain era. lol Ray going off on everyone was a great scene, don't get me wrong, but what exactly was the catalyst for it? Yes, he was drunk and on drugs, but prior to that he seemed to be mostly with it. I don't know, I just felt like there needed to be more of a build up to trigger him going off like that. The scene with him and Sand in the parking lot was also great. Just the tension between them. And I really hope Ray starts getting the help that he needs. If he doesn't, Sand needs to get out of there because there's no future for them if Ray isn't willing to realize he has a problem and help himself. Speaking of Sand, I love him so much. His sarcasm with Top was beautiful. I just really like his character and how solid he is. He does some questionable things to earn money, but overall he's a good guy. Boston stole the show as always. I really liked this episode giving us tidbits of information on him. I think things are about to really go down between him and Nick because frankly, there's a very limited number of people who could have made that recording and I think he's already suspecting Nick. Also super interesting seeing more of his thought process that he really doesn't feel any guilt and he's able to justify everything he does. Based on the little we saw of his dad though, it's not hard to see where he likely learned a lot of these behaviours. I never felt hugely sympathetic towards Nick, mostly just because even though I do think Boston is manipulating him to some degree, Boston has also made it very clear where he stands and Nick is just continuing to dig his own grave. And here's to April and Cheum for having the sole healthy relationship in this giant mess. I really want more of them. I like both their characters and they're sweet together. Love that they actually communicated and had an adult conversation. I cannot wait for next week to see the repercussions of everything from this episode.
That last episode was a snooze fest. We have all the drama with Doc and Muang which isn’t actually that dramatic. I really wish we’d had more buildup of their relationship and characters and less sex because their couple just seems very shallow. I like Muang, I don’t know what to think of Doc cause he doesn’t have much of a personality and as a couple they’re meh. The drama with Punn and Ashi was tedious. Like, Punn, why are you taking anything Title says seriously? You know he doesn’t like you. Also, yes, actors and artists in general often take examples from real life as inspiration. It doesn’t mean that Ashi was using Punn. And then we had Ashi being useless and not saying anything. The irony of Punn’s grandmother I think it was telling them to communicate and then these guys have done anything but. It was just so unnecessarily over the top and the pretty crying is boring. Episode 12 is going to have to be really good to redeem this.
Except that he is manipulating him. That scene in the pool was a prime example. Nick throws out the possibility…
I'm just going off his past behaviour. He's willing to do basically anything to get what he wants whether it's secretly manipulating someone or verbally attacking them. He's shown time and again that he's perfectly happy sleeping around, that's what gets him off, but I also get the impression it's a use/use situation. He gets what he wants and they get what they want. When it comes to Nick, Nick wants him and only him. He knows that, he uses it. Nick gives him some kind of validation and maybe to some degree he does like him. But he doesn't like the idea of Nick finding someone else to play with and the possibility of losing him, that much is obvious. His decision to suddenly stop sleeping around felt calculated since he mentioned it right after Nick's comment, as did his behaviour. Just my opinion though. I feel like pretty much everything Boston does is for a reason and that reason is always going to be self-serving.
People are forgetting Boston literally hasnt done anything to Nick, like... they're not dating so he wasnt cheating…
Except that he is manipulating him. That scene in the pool was a prime example. Nick throws out the possibility of having someone in addition to Boston and suddenly Boston's talking about sticking to one person. He hasn't physically done anything to hurt Nick, but he's fully aware of Nick's feelings and he's using those to get what he wants. Mentally and emotionally, he's abusive.
I need to know Boston's backstory at this point. I want to know what makes him tick and what created the toxic ass that he currently is. His manipulation and emotional abuse this last episode towards everyone just cemented what a god awful person he is. But damn am I impressed by Neo's acting. And poor Nick, he just keeps getting manipulated by Boston. Wake up and find someone who actually values you for you, hon. Top and Mew are starting to get boring. They were never at the same caliber as the other couples but they feel like they're going farther downhill with each progressive episode. Something needs to shake them up. And Sand and Ray just broke my heart. That day was almost perfect and then Boston just had to ruin it by making Sand question everything and driving wedges between them. Next week's episode looks like things start hitting the fan more so than they have to this point and I am living for it.
I never start watching dramas while airing because I love to just binge watch them once they're done, but this one I couldn't wait for it to be completed. I am adoring how messy and chaotic everything and everyone is. The gradual reveals that hint why characters are the way that they are is fantastic. It makes even the most toxic of them seem more human. And the acting is just *chef's kiss*. Already knew First and Khaotung were going to be amazing because they're never anything but, but Force and Book have stepped up their game and Neo and Mark are brilliant. Especially love how Mark is managing to tug on so many heartstrings when he's just as much of a red flag as the rest of them. I am so excited to see where this is going to go.
Sure, thanks for asking. I will admit it is not the most original theory, so I hope you are not too disappointed…
Thanks for sharing! And your theory isn't disappointing at all. It's actually one of the more logical ones that I've seen and absolutely makes sense. Unfortunately, lazy writing seems to be a bit of a theme with Our Skyy 2 so I'm not surprised in the slightest if that is the case.
Glad I'm not alone in feeling like this drama is a disappointment. I watched the two prequel episodes and thought this drama was going to be amazing, but talk about a complete shift in tone, story, and characters. I'm only two episodes in and I'm already so disappointed. I don't know what they were on to think that people wouldn't be unhappy with the discrepancies. It's really not that hard to make sure stories match up. I have a feeling getting through the rest of this is going to be a slog.
Was really looking forward to MSP until that trailer hit. I feel like a multiverse storyline where it's basically the same story with a few changes, besides the character switches, is lazy and boring. I'm hopeful there's a twist somewhere that will save it though.
can someone write all the BLs the actors acted in I wanna watch them before I watch that one. I watched lita,…
